Summary: This property provides an awesome location right on the water, and it has a great layout for multiple families. The rooms have great flexibility for where people will sleep, and the little amenities are a nice touch. It seems that the house was very thoughtfully curated when first launched as a vacation rental, but has since been neglected and on autopilot. Communication is mostly non-existent other than automated messages. They direct you to SMS and keep all communication off of VRBO (or other OTAs), yet don't respond to text messages. . Indoor camera facing entry area, and another indoor camera downstairs! Primary bedroom got down to 55 deg at night despite thermostat at 70. Thermostats all drop to low 60s at night even if you change them. Mold throughout the house. Multiple guests had reactions before we even saw it, and we found visible mold in multiple rooms on ceiling, walls, and/or doors. Garage fridge all moldy. Amenities are VERY light - one dishwasher pod, no laundry detergent, no batteries in any Xbox controllers so kids could only share one. Play gym that is pictured is not there, just a swing set. Advertised fire pit is not there. Bugs throughout home, spider webs across top of kitchen cabinets. Multiple plumbing fixtures broken. Toilet completely detached from floor and rocked when you sat on it. You have to make your own beds on arrival.

Summary: Rented the house on Lake Gaston, we traveled there for a family wedding. House was spacious and had plenty of room for our family. Location was great for the event. Enjoyed fishing from the dock also

Summary: We chose this home for a mini family reunion with ages 10 months to 70 years old. Everyone was happy with the choice and we had a great time. There were a couple of tweaks that would have been helpful to know but it didn’t detract from our weekend. Kids loved having new to them toys.

Summary: We made a last minute trip to Lake Gaston and it was everything we hoped! The house is more than accommodating and had everything we needed; fit 3 adults and 5 children with plenty of space left over…lots of privacy for those that wanted it to include the teens! Games to play at night..massive kitchen! The lake, awesome..the boat house and dock…amazing. Kids had an amazing time. Rented a local boat and had a great time tubing…will certainly come again!

Summary: Had many amenities not mentioned, such as high chair, pack and play, hair dryers and toiletries in each bathroom, which was awesome, but would have been nice to know so we didn’t have to pack them! Had trouble logging into the Wi-Fi and team member was helpful when we called.

Summary: The house is beautiful inside and out. It was a little chilly so we didn't get much outside time. My husband and i renewed our vows on the front lawn. My whole family was amazed at how much space we had. It was such a busy week/weekend that we didnt get to really enjoy the house like we wanted so we will definitely return in the spring.
