Positive: The property itself is beautiful, and it’s clear there’s a lot of intention behind the design. We truly wanted to love our stay, and the space has a lot of potential.

Negative: This review was not originally going to be posted. I initially shared this feedback privately with the property owner in the hope that the issues would be addressed for future guests. However, after our concerns were dismissed and minimized, and after reading multiple prior reviews that mention the same recurring problems, I feel it’s important to share this publicly so other guests are aware. The sauna was not working despite multiple attempts on different days. Cleanliness was also a concern upon arrival: dishes were dirty and needed to be rewashed, some cookware was burned and unusable, there was noticeable pet hair on the floors, and some pillows lacked protective covers. Comfort and safety were additional issues. The double beds upstairs were very uncomfortable, making it difficult to sleep. After reviewing other guest feedback, it appears this has been a known issue for some time. Several chairs were unstable and poorly cushioned, which raised safety concerns, especially with children present. Most concerning, one of the children found a small drug(dime) bag containing a red substance in the kids’ bunk room. This was alarming. When we raised this with the property owner, we were dismissed saying other guests left saffron (it was a pink powder) This response felt dismissive and added to our concern about cleaning and quality control. Lots of Pet hair on the floor when we first arrived to, showers have pink mould near the drain. We paid 199 for a cleaning fee but still had to clean and pay for an extra pet fee on top. There were no towels / paper towels to clean up. After reviewing previous guest reviews, it’s clear that issues related to cleanliness, bed comfort, and the sauna have been raised before. Given that these appear to be ongoing, I believe it’s important for future guests to be aware before booking.

Positive: Beautiful location overlooking a quiet lake. Modern and comfortable house with a great layout and 3 bedrooms. The infrared sauna does work - you just have to follow the instructions (on and off switch) and ignore the control panel.

Negative: Some of the smaller supplies (paper towels, ground coffee, sugar) could have been replenished. Nothing major though. Don’t hesitate to stay here.

Positive: Great property! It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The lake was beautiful and we really enjoyed spending time by the water.

Negative: Booked here because hoped it will be different from Airbnb booking, but check out still had instructions like “take garbage out” and “start a load with towels”.
