Summary: 4 adults over 60 yrs. Staying for 3 nights for a city break. We arrived a bit earlier than planned due to trains being all over the place due to extreme weather. It was very cold and we had our cases so decided to head over to the property, it was about 3.15. The lady was just finishing cleaning and so pleased she was there as the key box was so high we couldnt see the code numbers especially in the dark. Property was lovely just what we wanted close enough to the city without being in the centre easy walk from station. Sadly the upstairs bedroom is very difficult to access as there are steps over a beam which is quite awkward, also the bed is a futon style so you are very low to the ground great if you are young and agile but for older guests It can be quit difficult getting up. Please mention in the details. Heating was an issue as it came on in the evening so when we came back in the afternoon for a cuppa and sit down before going out for dinner it was really chilly as the weather was very cold then it was boiling hot at night even when we put the thermostates down it got very stuffy in the bedroom Also new batteries needed for the tv remote as you had to keep rubbing them and standing right up to the tv. No microwave which would be handy as it took us ages and very frustrating time trying to work the oven. Would be nice if 1 or 2 dishwasher tablets supplied or at least say none provided on details. Overall a very nice place to stay just a few niggles that need sorting.

Summary: Location was perfect and the house is beautiful and very comfortable. Could have used some extra supplies (only one shampoo bottle for two bedrooms, and there wasn’t much toilet paper). These are minor things, the place was great.
