Summary: I believe the short title 'hidden gem' might capture the attention for those looking for a place to relax, hike, cycle and walk able to UC Berkeley and desirable neighborhood hotspots ie Market Hall & College Ave., to name a few. Kathy & Bill (owners) were always responsive if I had any questions. A positive and lovely month + staying in this Berkeley hidden gem.

Summary: Kathy and Bill were terrific hosts and truly made an effort to make my stay a great one. The location is perfect and the outdoor space is a wonderful extension to the home. This, coupled with a comfortable bed and GREAT water pressure make this a property a little jewel.

Summary: My mother and I stayed here for a month and we had a fantastic trip! Kathy and Bill were super responsive; the house was spotless with great appliances and nice outdoor spaces. Great neighborhood. We were walking distance to a charming grocery store and close to the theater and restaurants in Elmwood and Rockridge. There are a few bit of stairs to and in the house that those with mobility issues may have to figure out how to navigate

Summary: While, happily, the description of 40 Domingo was accurate, it can only begin to express what a paradise the apartment is: Elegant yet cozy, spotless and well-maintained, beautifully appointed kitchen and bathroom, luxurious linens and robes, mid-century modern furnishings that work perfectly with the art deco architecture. Kathy and Bill have thought of every detail and anticipated every need. They are always available though not in evidence unless you need them. And such lovely people. Plus the New York Times every morning! The outdoor spaces--three gorgeous terraces in all--feel like an extension of the indoor spaces. The landscaping is sublime. Great BBQ. The only problem with 40 Domingo for a visit to Berkeley is you'll never want to leave the apartment. That said, two great commercial areas are in walking distance--amazing bakeries and restaurants, shopping, movie theater, plus easy drives to the University, Rockridge, Berkeley Rep, Chez Panisse et al. We would recommend this property to everyone!
