Located within walking distance to all major attractions in the area, our luxurious vacation rental is located right in the heart of Cardiff-by-the-Sea. The “Cardiff Penthouse” is the upstairs area of our fully remodeled duplex. Our professional interior designer has pulled out every creative element in her sleeve to give this place the edgy contemporary modern look that evokes luxury and sophistication.
No need to buy bottles of water while on vacation. House has a new HALO 5 whole home water filtration system that removes chlorine, heavy metals, dyes, pesticide; say hello to the best glass of cold water right of your faucet and enjoy a clean fresh shower.
The Penthouse is composed of 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms a living room, and a modern Chef’s kitchen, with custom black cabinets, modern appliances with touches of rose gold, and brass. The living room, equipped with a large flat-screen TV, showcases a beautiful, ocean waves inspired faux leather couch that can be used as extra sleeping space or lazy afternoon naps. The art displayed on the walls adds to the luxurious feeling the place has. Both bedrooms have comfortable queen-sized beds, with the master bedroom having extra seating, a walk-in closet and a master bath that has been completely redone with black tile in 3D dimension. Both bedrooms also offer a spectacular ocean view to take in before falling asleep.
Both bathrooms are equipped with brass fixtures and decorated with designer wallpaper that makes your vacation in California as luxurious as a Las Vegas stay.
The whole space is flushed with generous amounts of daylight entering from its 3 large windows and during the evenings, delicate counter-top lights will make you think of beautiful fireflies that light up an enchanted forest.

Summary: We stayed at this property for 2 weeks and had a fantastic time. Pros: location (walked to beach, Zumbar coffee and Seaside Market daily). Wonderful view of the park and beach - so relaxing! Safe, quiet neighborhood. Great internet connection for work meetings. Neutral: Sleeps 6... but there is only enough silverware for 1 meal (for 6), and it's a bit mis-matched at that. This is really a bachelor pad. The dryer was broken (known to owner from PREVIOUS visitor) so we needed be around for the repair man to get that fixed since we were staying for 2 weeks -- it would have been nice if that was already fixed before we got there. The garbage disposal and sink drain weren't working, so the plumber came. The fridge filter was beeping constantly and needed to be changed. Both wine openers were broken (weird). After everything was fixed, things were smooth. The pictures online are SUPER glamorous. In real life it is a bit less glamorous, but fine. Summary: Overall a really nice stay, but not sure about the value, given all of the mishaps and how many times we had to run the dishwasher just because of lacking silverware! There was only 2 of us, but we cooked every meal. Julio was really helpful with suggestions for things to do and places to go, and got things fixed quickly overall.

Summary: We had an amazing stay at this ocean view condo! The condo was furnished beautifully and had everything we could possibly have needed and more for our stay! Julio was a wonderful host providing us with clear instructions as well as always being available to help. He even gave us tips on places to and things and do! It was easy to walk to the beach as well as restaurants and markets! We cannot wait to return!

Summary: Everything as advertised and more. Exceptionally clean and outfitted with all the essentials. Very convenient location within minutes of restaurants, shopping, etc. Penthouse has a great view of the ocean and overlooks a cute little park. Would definitely stay again!!

Summary: We had a great stay at the penthouse and would definitely come back again! Everything was exactly as pictured - not to mention the great sunset views every evening. The house is convenient to everything you need whether walking or driving. The hosts were easy to get a hold of and even provided us with a long list of recommendations for food and activities. Highly recommend it for anyone considering a stay here.

Summary: The apartment is located in a very nice neighborhood in easy walking distance to the beach. It's very well and stylish equipped. We were sitting on the veranda, having a coffee in the morning. It's clean and Julio was very responsive, gave us tips about things going on in the area.
