Summary: The villa and facilities were as described and we had a great holiday. But it was our first time to Corfu and we were surprised by the noise of the planes flying overhead, most noticeably at night (the airport is right next door to Corfu Town), and also the music pollution from a hotel across the bay - their lunchtime Zumba classes and night time bar music was inescapable and spoiled the otherwise peace and quiet. There is no swimming beach within easy walking distance (doesn’t matter as the pool is great), and it’s about a 15 minute /20 Euro taxi ride into Corfu Town. Gouvia Marina nearby has some nice bars and restaurants. The day’s “free” boat use is provided by a very nice and responsible company a short walk/drive from the villa.

Summary: WOW!!!, just returned from a week in paradise-Still Waters. We were after a week of relaxing and got much more, the views are amazingly breathtaking and we got every inch of peace and tranquility we were after. Still Waters is a great location and felt welcoming straight away. Offering really comfy beds and fluffy towels (a must for me) nicely decorated and comfy furniture (both outdoors and in) we hired a car but everything is walkable -beach and restaurants. Really would recommend for a family holiday, very private and relaxing. Shall definatley be returning 😎

Summary: We had our best ever holiday at Still Waters, very spacious accommodation, excellent furniture and beds, full kitchen but did not use it much as the local restaurants were very good. The garden and pool were just the best, the whole family enjoyed this villa, as soon as you open your eyes in the morning we couldn't wait to have coffee on the veranda over looking the garden and sea below. Good location to get in to Corfu town and other sights on the island. Anybody going must book a boat hire below house on the seafront to go to Agni Taverna in Agni Bay, it is a must

Summary: We enjoyed a fantastic two weeks in this Corfu villa. Still Waters was better than the photos lead you to believe. It is spacious, high spec and well maintained, with regular cleaning visits. Views are absolutely stunning and days by the pool were as enjoyable as days out visiting the island. What attracted us to the villa was its location. It is perfectly situated on the island for trips to west coast (paliokastritsa), north east(Agni and all the bays on the way), and Corfu town. There are a good number of restaurants within walking distance (though some are up and down hill for 15mins along roads) our personal favourite is the old mill (o Milos) which can be seen in the distance from the still waters dinning table. A beautiful restaurant with stunning views and great service. Our favourite day was a trip to Agni using the local boat hire from the bay. We stopped at Barbati beach on the way there and then dropped anchor several times at pretty coves on the way back. Can't recommend this trip highly enough along with dinner at the Agni taverna. The local boat hire (opposite guapo restaurant) were very helpful. Car hire is essential to get around and the best supermarket is AB on the main road to Corfu town. The one downside for us was the arrival experience. Our flight arrived on time around 8.30 with little daylight left. At this time there was a 1.5hr wait for taxi's. We were met at the airport but would have been helpful to have planned a taxi for us to avoid the wait. Arrival at the villa was delayed by a broken key fob ( quick call to jane and this was resolved ). However now tired and hungry from the trip the villa did not even have a bottle of water never mind a welcome pack. A quick trip in the dark on a strange island to the supermarket at 9.30 with hungry kids was not the holiday start we wanted. That said this was our only issue in the whole two weeks and Jane was on hand to help resolve any questions we had very quickly.

Summary: We arrived off a sailboat after a week sailing the Ionian Sea to a clean, well maintained beautiful villa in Kommeno. The location for us was fabulous as we had 3 boys in our party 14,12 and 7. There was the boat rental waterskiing and wakeboarding all around the corner and a super pool to return to after a day out. The property was very clean with fab pillows and bedding clean and crisp which is important to me. Jane and Chris were excellent, quick to return my emails and questions and always so nice to deal with. I would definitely use Prestige Villas again as they sold me the villa I was looking for. Would certainly recommend this villa to others. O Mylos (The Mill) restaurant probably the best in the near area to the villa. Thank you again Jane and Chris.

Summary: Still waters is a wonderful villa, smart, clean and spacious. It is in a lovely little suburb and the gardens and views are stunning. Apart from some tiny little details, I couldn’t really fault the villa at all. The games were welcomed, the music CD’s were good to have, one of the kids did watch a DVD and the swimming pool inflatables were good fun! We appreciated the towels for use by the pool and the personal touches such as the bathroom products and hairdryers in all the rooms. I would recommend the villa confidently. If I were to be pernickety about the villa; I would add, that it would have been helpful to have a cheese grater, a dustpan and an extra key! Currently the pictures of the pool area show 3 parasols & outside cushions, but on arrival, there were only 2 parasols and no outside cushions (this is a small detail, but worth mentioning). We were disappointed and surprised that there was no arrival pack, and the information booklet, albeit helpful, could have gone much further. Unfortunately, when in a unknown town, being advised where the nearest butcher, supermarket etc. by road names isn’t that helpful, as there are no road signs. We were also not contacted, even once, by anyone asking if all was well, anything was needed etc. However, the biggest downside for us, that changed the dynamics of the holiday quite considerably, was the location of the villa. The description states a ‘3 minute walk to the beach’ and a 5 minute walk to the nearest restaurant. This is simply not correct. The nearest open water area. which is not a beach but really a bay for hiring boats and other water sports, is down a hill, out of the gated villa area, and then a walk on a fairly busy road, I would say around a 30 minute walk. And as I say it isn't a typical beach with sunbeds, parasols, etc. (We did spend some time looking for pathways to other possible beach areas near the villa, and I can only assume the pathway mentioned in the description is the one that takes you to the church). The nearest taverna is a further 5 minute walk and is situated on the side of a busy road and never had anyone eating in it - a car is, very much, a necessity. So in summary, the villa was great, positioned in a beautiful quiet area with stunning views, in a well-tended, attractive garden with a great swimming pool area but the location didn’t live up to the description and therefore did spoil the type of holiday we were hoping to have.

Summary: The property is to a high standard, in a very sought after area not only to holiday but to purchase with surrounding properties on the market for over £4 Million. Hiring a car is essential as the villa is situated on a hilltop with amazing views over Kommenno bay, its a must stay location if you like peace and quiet. We were amazed at how cheap everywhere seemed to be in terms of eating out, we are a family of 5 that and were spending less that 90 euros per night on food and drink. Restaurants we suggest are Aprovato and Old Millos which are both on the upper Kommenno road past the Greco palace. One suggestion, hire a boat from stelios in the bay, an amazing experience travelling to Agni for lunch. Just a brilliant experience and we will be back next year.

Summary: This villa gave us the whole package... total relaxation.. amazing pool ... a beautiful dining veranda for a the family to sit round and appreciate the stunning views. Being an active family the Beech and water sports were just a short walk away with a great variety. The Villa offers a fantastic position for Corfu Town with its many restaurants ... We even missed the beds when we got home!! They were all of the best quality .. Overal we can highly recommend this villa for anyone's stay. The pool and cleaning staff were above and beyond ...

Summary: We had a lovely ten day holiday at villa Stillwaters. The villa was perfect - great views, peaceful location, lovely veranda for dining, well equipped and most importantly gorgeous comfy beds. My personal favourite spot was by the pool under a giant sun umbrella on the amazing double sunbed - pure relaxation especially being surprised by a pimms no.1 ...... About six in the evening it was lovely to watch the swifts skimming the pool from this position! The gardens are a pure delight, beautifully kept and tranquil. The villa itself is located within a small private gated community of luxury villas all with gorgeous sea views. The spacious master bedroom is on the first floor with an ensuite - no other bedrooms on this level was a bonus - but the photos don't do it justice - we were absolutely delighted with it and the large balcony with its beautiful views which we took full advantage of. Old corfu town is only 15 minutes away so we had three evenings there just walking around and dining in restaurants advised in the villa book - we totally agreed with the reviews especially 'To Mike' - amazing food and extremely friendly. We had a couple of BBQs at the villa but otherwise took the recommendations from the villa for local restaurants which again were fab - 'Olympia Mare' at the nearby Gouvia marina did us proud with fabulous pasta and wonderful salads, 'Apovrado' in Kommeno had great food and wonderful sea views, but our favourite was 'O Milos' in Kommeno with wonderful views, excellent food at very reasonable cost and exceptionally friendly. A car is necessary here at the villa to get out and about in the evenings or to go to the supermarket, but not especially essential as we made use of 'Alex the Taxi' a few times and also you can easily walk to nearby restaurants or down to the beautiful church and small sand beach via a footpath just outside the entrance gates - but we spent most days just relaxing in the villa, pool and garden enjoying the beautiful surroundings. Jane the agent was delightful, couldn't do enough for us, arranged car hire and was always on call. One other thing, we rented a small boat from the boat hire below and went for lunch to Agni taverna for wonderful seafood experience - perfect! All in all a holiday to remember - loved it!

Summary: Stillwaters is a high spec villa by any standards. The gardens and pool area are by far the best we have ever had and a pleasure to relax in, day and night. The owners have thought of everything inside the house too, from cleaning products to ant killer, it is all here for your convenience. It is hard to fault the villa in any way, the views are spectacular, rooms all comfortable and the main living area is a joy. Our only very slight disappointment is the lack of places to eat within walking distance. For a large group or family with children who enjoy the pool, this is the place for you!
