The first bedroom is located on the ground floor and has french doors which provide direct access to a patio andthe garden beyond. The rest of the accommodation includes a spaciousand comfortable loungeand a well equipped modern kitchenwith adining area which has wonderful views across the garden.

Summary: La Vigne Vierge is described as a luxurious gite and it certainly lives up to its’ title. It has been elegantly converted and furnished, with amazing attention to detail. We always take a travel mattress and our own pillows but neither were required here. The furniture was clearly bought new for the property and not ‘left over’ furniture that the owner doesn’t want! The pool area is amazing and again the garden furniture is appropriate and comfortable . We would definitely stay here again if visiting this area. The owners were on hand but discreet and the whole garden was for our use only.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay at the Mongesty gite. It’s a classic French country cottage and beautifully decorated. Large kitchen w/ a nice view and spacious living room and bedrooms. The pool was a plus. It’s pretty remote and a little challenging finding it but well worth the trip. We’d definitely stay there again.
