Positive: Decent comfortable bed and wardrobe facility and a decent sized bathroom with reasonable shower included. Most types of furniture chairs/tables etc were provided and of a reasonable standard. A supermarket was within walking distance and the town centre isn’t far away if you need more facilities. Parking was reasonable and felt safe, and the owner was helpful and quick to respond with all aspects of our stay when asked. WiFi and TV were also good for our needs.

Negative: It doesn’t have enough worktop space for any sort of food preparation/cooking and the minimum of cups, plates etc was unnecessarily tight. My main issue though was the road noise and the somewhat hidden placement in the block when booking (unless I missed something), in that it is basically at the front side of the block (not shown in the photos) and therefore effectively roadside relative to one wall of the main living areas. Although the windows in the bedroom were relatively small and only one window in the main room, therefore noise was lessened, as well as natural light levels being low as a consequence; some decent curtains in both rooms would help dull outside noise down and help alleviate the slight echo from the hard surfaced interior in the main room. For me it would also give the apartment a slightly cosier feel. I am sensitive to noise so this is both relative and obviously personal.

Positive: Apartment is nicer than staying in a hotel room, you have an all in one lounge,kitchen/diner and separate bedroom and bathroom. Sky tv basic package is a nice touch makes it a touch above standard tv in a hotel. Washing machine and dishwasher. Few bits of tea and chocolates drink in the cupboard and a box of breakfast oats which I like. Bottle beer left no for me but it was nice. Bed comfortable but a bit low .

Negative: Sofa more for fashion than comfort but ok for a few days. Bed comfy but low standing if you struggle with low furniture. No shower gel left or hand soap, not enough loo roll, but they can easily be topped up. Few touches that were missed.

Negative: The host was very abrupt when we arrived, unnecessary cryptic comments. Had to either use a toaster or a kettle on the floor as only one double socket in the kitchen which the microwave was plugged into. Washing machine was full of laundry.

Positive: The apartment is very secure and the host called me to share the door code to let me in. The bed is comfy, the shower is hot and the tv is great! The table and chairs, settee and kitchen resources are good.

Negative: Only one toilet roll was left, which is poor, and the milk in the fridge was a week out of date, along with some other products - I don't know if this was due to the cleaning of the fridge not done properly. I had to hunt around for a tea towel and hand soap, the bath towels are a bit small
