Summary: Absolutely loved our stay in El Cajon with Todd and Colleen! We have stayed at several vacation rental homes over the years and this was by far the best home we have ever stayed in. It was nice to have the little extras such as spices, coffee, etc. Plenty of extra towels, our kids loved the pool, and we all enjoyed the peaceful setting. The owners had several suggestions for site seeing and restaurants. We even asked if we could borrow a cooler to pack lunch and the graciously did! Honestly can’t say anything bad about this home or it’s owners!!

Summary: A peaceful getaway with a gorgeous pool and hot tub to enjoy after an adventure filled day in beautiful San Diego. Approved by picky teenagers too. Lovely porch with a breeze that the adults enjoyed in the morning. Safe, beautiful neighborhood and owners Colleen and Todd are lovely people. Would definitely recommend.

Summary: Just finished up a nice little getaway weekend. Awesome views from every room. Cottage is beautifully appointed. Gorgeous landscaping with a giant fenced in yard my pup enjoyed. Hiking trails right outside the back door. Will definitely repeat.

Summary: My family and I have been extremely busy and this was the only time we had to do something together this summer, so we agreed on looking for a quiet and relaxing place we could enjoy and re-energize. We were lucky to find this location. Sitting about 20 minutes east of downtown San Diego, it has a country feel to it. The property sits up against some hills with nice nature trails for hiking, running, mountain biking, and even horseback riding. Each morning we woke up to birds and rabbits beginning their day, just outside the back doors and windows. What a nice way to begin our day. The house, which I believe is a "mother-in-law" type house, has everything you need. You really only need to bring clothes and food if you want to cook. The owners even provided some drinks, snacks, and fruit to get us started. Now, speaking of the owners, Todd and Colleen were wonderful. We had the pleasure of meeting them upon our arrival. In addition to the kind greeting, they provided a tour of the house and facility and ensured we had everything we needed. They were always there if we had a need or questions; responding quickly to emails and text messages. We couldn't have asked for better hosts. They were kind, friendly, caring, and provided us privacy and space. We feel fortunate to have met them. I do want to mention that though the place has a country feel to it, you are not far away from shopping, good restaurants, and things to do; either locally or a short trip to La Mesa or San Diego. Thank you, Todd and Colleen, for a memorable getaway.
