Summary: This is a spectacular beach front home that has every amenity a group could want for a relaxing, Outer Banks top-notch vacation. The home deserves a better property manager. Booking on VRBO, paying their fee and then having to manage all communication through a separate platform that wasn't user friendly (having to login to Resort Realty to read messages, costly credit card fees) was sub-optimal. The home needs a serious deep cleaning. And arriving to clumps of hair in the shower drains makes me doubt the property manager is adhering to the extensive COVID-19 cleaning diagram they share.

Summary: We loved the house and the location. It’s been a few years since we have been in Duck. This house was a perfect location to shops and restaurants . With the new construction of the dunes we did not know the oceanfront homes do NOT have access to the beach. You have to use one of the walk ways- spaces out about every 5 houses or so. This home HAS an access point so its good and bad . You can go down on the beach with direct access attached to this home but so does everyone else . It’s traffic of people al day and night coming past the house The kitchen was stocked nicely with dishes and pots and pans. The grill was right off the kitchen made it super nice for cooking meals. We really did not use the lower level. The theater room need a good air out - smells bad like “ Old Spice” lol My only other comment is the pool was not clean when we arrived . The house overall was very poorly cleaned - The master bath still had some old soap and the drain was full of hair - gross. All the tubs were filling up during a shower - All the drains need to be cleaned out . The house is well care for as far as furnishings etc . So I am sure the owners would have been disappointed with the cleanliness of there home.
