Welton Woods is an expansive lodge designed to bring luxurious amenities into the great outdoors.
It's the perfect place for corporate training and seminars, wellness retreats, family reunions, and vacations. The Lodge is situated on a rustic mountainside above the town of Fairview, Utah.
Welton Woods has more than 10,000 square feet of living space, and we are so thrilled to share it. The property offers the unique opportunity to accommodate a significant number of people all under one roof without feeling crowded. It's close enough to town to get things you need, but isolated enough to offer the ease of seclusion.
Sleeping arrangements are made easily as the lodge sleeps 50 people in beds. Eight rooms feature king sized beds, and two bunk rooms sleep 15 each (for a total 30 twin size beds).
Here are just some of the wonderful things Welton Woods offers;
-A Theater Room which often is used as a perfect presentation area thanks to the levels of couches and upscale electronics.
-A Game Room area with an amazing imported pool table and ping pong table. Located on the bottom floor, the game room is separate from the bedrooms, making it easy to house entertainment without interfering with living space.
-A Hot Tub and Sauna, who doesn't love that? Whether it is to keep you toasty during the colder months or relaxed during the warmer ones, it's nice to have a place to sneak away to and rest the mind.
-10 Acres of land surrounding Welton Woods, perfect for outdoor events and activities.
-A huge wrap-around porch that overlooks the trees and landscape below. It's fully covered, and it comfortably seats 20+ people. The porch is ideal for dining or enjoying each other's company.
The last 15 or so minutes to the lodge is on a dirt road; all-wheel or 4-wheel drive is recommended; however, it is still accessible by all vehicles.
In the winter, Welton Woods is only accessible by snowcat or snowmobiles which guests can rent from us for an additional fee or our driver can take them up and bring them back down for no additional Charge for the first 3 rides. Any additional Rides can be purchased for $250.
We are more than willing to help schedule shuttles, caterers, or other additional services of interest.
We have photos of the Lodge, but honestly, they don't nearly do the place justice. It has this amazing quality to it that makes it feel cozy despite its enormous size.

Summary: We enjoyed a retreat to the mountains for fall break. Our group included my wife, our kids, some close friends, and some of our family members of all ages We had a fantastic time cooking in the spacious kitchen including making chocolate from cocoa beans, cupcake decorating, a chocolate tasting, and amazing breakfasts and dinners. The day was filled with hikes and game time with a few friendly competitions and the kids put on their traditional theater style play. Evenings were filled with spa time in the hot tub and sauna, enjoying our favorite collage football team’s game, the NFL Red Zone and a few movie nights in the theater It snowed and our teens bounced back and forth between the hot tub and building a snowman which was an experience they won't forget We can’t wait to visit again as this has become a favorite for all

Summary: We really could not have had a better experience at Herriman Cross Country Camp at Welton Woods. Every year, we reserve a large property to hold our camp, and the kids (and adults) all agreed that this was the best year yet because of Welton Woods! The property had everything we needed and more! It was almost as if it was designed with our camp in mind. The girls' and the boys' rooms were perfect so the kids could all stay together comfortably and have time to bond. The chaperones loved that the boys and girls were separated by two floors. All the chaperones stayed on the main floor. The theater room made clinics and presentations not only easy for the coach, but comfortable for kids because everyone had a place to sit. We also loved the fire pit, the sauna, game room, and hot tub. The property was squeaky clean and had everything we needed to cook meals for 45 people with runner appetites. We also loved that the deck had enough seating so that the kids could eat outside and enjoy the beautiful views at every meal. There were so many things for the kids to do during their free time. We cannot say enough good things about this property and about Emma--she was so responsive to all our questions. The property was also very close to some of the most beautiful runs the team has ever done, so they also loved their time away from the cabin while they ran. Thank you for a great week!

Summary: The property was beyond our wildest imagination! It was so large and had the most gorgeous panoramic views. There was plenty of room for all of our people and the ability to have everyone in the same dining area made our meals special. Two thumbs up!

Summary: We had a family reunion here. The house is beautiful, very clean, everything in good condition. Easy communication with property manager. Of note the last part of the drive is a bit steep, AWD is best for this if possible.

Summary: Our family of 40 had a wonderful stay at Welton Woods. The location was beautiful. We really enjoyed the view from the deck. The kitchen was great for our big group, and it was very well stocked with everything we needed. The ice maker was a real bonus that we loved. The beds were all comfortable and made up with nice linens. We also had fun with the pool and ping pong tables and the theatre room. Everything was very clean and well maintained. Emma was so great to work with and she was very quick to respond to any questions we had.

Summary: We stayed at Welton Woods 12 years ago with our family and loved it then. We have grown to a family of nearly 50! We wanted a special venue to connect with our children and grandchildren and immediately thought of this great property. It didn’t disappoint! Every step was easy from booking to check in and check out! Emma was so attentive and quickly answered all our questions. The nice welcome goodies were a nice touch. Our family enjoyed every minute of our stay. There was plenty of room for everyone. The two bunk rooms gave all the grandkids a bed. There were lots of games and toys. The pool table and ping pong were the favorites. We loved the movie room too. The views off the deck were amazing. So many great memories with the family. We highly recommend this great property. The kitchen was fully equipped and all the nice amenities were great. Hope to return soon !
