Positive: When you first enter the foyer of this luxurious hotel, you are greeted with the crystal clear waters of the swimming pool, flowing into the lagoon and then to the stunning Indian Ocean. Our suite was comfortable thanks to Elodie, who promptly relocated us. The view can best be described as idyllic. Having opted for the all inclusive option elevated the luxurious experience. The cuisine was delectable and represented the global community, especially on theme nights. The location added to the ambience of the resort. Perfectly situated between Le Morne Brabant and the lagoon which allowed guests to literally step out of their accommodation into the lagoon teeming with sea life. Weather- perfect. Different patterns in a day. Rainy, humid, windy and simply ideal. Food - Delicious both at THE KITCHEN (main restaurant) and THE ISLAND KITCHEN (informal dress code on the beach) At The Island Kitchen, Fi was a standout waitress - ever smiling and helpful. The Kichen had it's fair share of 5 star professional, helpful and polite staff. Executive chefs Saurabh and Visal were instrumental in a well thought out menu. A pleasant surprise was the variety of Vegan food as well as the awareness of food allergies. Duty Managers - Cindy Govind and Alain oversaw the smooth running of service. Our favorite egg lady was Christelle Our juice master was Fins Our fish and meat cooks - Ashish and Aditya quickly got to know our likes. Waitrons- Kishan (comedic and helpful), Eloise, Joceline , Kaushik, Daniel, Chloe, Adele, Alonzo and Joshna (supervisor), made us feel welcome, comfortable and special. Our Mauritian cooks - Shaanti and Saarita certainly knew their spices serving delicious food. Our pudding lady - Lori overfed us with desserts. The person who was most important as she made our suite feel like home, always smiling and going the extra mile., was Sangeeta. She serviced our room daily making certain we were never without.

Negative: Helpful suggestions- Facilities are dated. More refuse bins should be placed around the resort. The mini bar fridge was not cold enough. Entertainment like Bingo, dancing and aqua aerobics will be appreciated. My husband went on the snorkeling trips twice but found the staff to be lazy, unhelpful and the outing too short.

Positive: We had an excellent stay at LUX Le Morne*. The service was attentive and professional, and the food consistently delicious. Our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The location is unbeatable – a pristine beach lined with palm trees and crystal-clear water perfect for snorkeling. The facilities are outstanding, with a fully equipped gym, a relaxing spa, and even a library where one can enjoy some quiet time. Highly recommended.

Positive: Lux Le Morne is a perfect place for all needs - celebration, healing, unplugging etc. We recommend the rooms on the top floor for the views and avoiding footsteps overhead. The breakfast buffet was amazing and taking a taxi to dinner in one of the 3 restaurants in the adjacent town worked well for us. On the only rainy day we hired a taxi from the hotel for exploring the south part of the Island.

Positive: The scenery is amazing, with the touch of luxury, very kind and attentive personnel, delicious food.

Negative: Wining and dining is quite expensive. I missed more easthetic touch at serving drinks. As the whole island is all about the rum, it should be served with more imagination.

Positive: I got married at Lux Le Morne. Will be a memory that I will never forget. The resort is on the middle of nature the Le Morne in the back makes you feel like you are in a movie. Also has many details that make a mix of traditional and modern style. The lagune water is crystal, and also resort is divided in two parts which each has a pool with Le Morne view. I do not remember the names of all the staff but thankful to all for the service to make my stay unforgatteble. I had a delay of the luggeges and when I come was stressed now I regret that I did not enjoy at the fullest. ( I was in Mauritius, why should be stressed for some clothes) The reception help me by communicating also with the airport to fasten the procedure. Mannie and the other girl from celebration corner was a huge support for my weeding as I was only with my fiance. The spa service , beach service, room service, all the waiters and staff from each of the restorants and bar was very polite and helpful. A vacation that will always has my heart with it.

Negative: I would recomend for best facilities that the heated pool in winter should be more heated. In winter is cold and a bit windy and to be honest was cold in the pool and sea. Would be more pleasant to have warm water to enjoy and why not both of pools since each has an amaizing view. The menu for late lanch from the bar would be good to have more varieties as well as in the breakfast. The food in general is good but is a bit overprice, most possible from the view of Le Morne.
