The heart of this home is the main floor which features living and dining room areas that open out to an expansive ocean view. The open plan extends the other way to a fabulous gourmet kitchen with a huge island that seats 6. The inviting deck beyond the French doors, and the beach beyond that, create a true indoor-outdoor living experience!
For rainy days and night-time family fun there’s a carport hang-out area with a cozy circular sectional, bar with seating for 4, gas grill, ping pong, cornhole and a putting green! And additional amenities are coming in 2023! And for the young, and young at heart, there’s also an upstairs game room with a stand-up arcade game, a Smart TV and - an Infinity game table!

This is the gourmet kitchen you could cook in forever. Stunning ocean views and every amenity! The ‘cook’ can be part of every gathering - with endless granite counter space to entertain and mix cocktails, serve appetizers, create a masterpiece, or, sip wine and chat with the concierge chef that’s been arranged by the host! Serendib features two separate decks for ocean, dolphin and Blue Angel viewing. Two king suites open to a charming upper deck perfect for a morning cup of coffee or an afternoon glass of wine! The downstairs living and dining areas open out onto their own expansive deck, steps from the sand, with incredible views every day and night!
And there’s the pool, the ultimate spot…You can watch the sun set from the heated pool, which is a true luxury. You can watch pods of dolphins swim by. This part of Gulf Shores is very uncommercial - no chain restaurants, no crowds, and the house is right on the sand in Fort Morgan - which is almost all private beach. It's so peaceful....
There’s an easy picnic table for 6 to grab snacks and also a covered resort-style lounge area with a fire table to relax into after hours! Another magical place to watch the sun set!

All this overlooks the gorgeous Gulf of Mexico and the impeccable private beach, with its spun-sugar soft sand and crystal clear aquamarine water.
AROUND TOWN:
"There are some great activities that can be done right at the house – a picnic on the beach (professionally catered and set up), and sand-castle building classes (a local company gives private group lessons), a private chef to cook a special meal at the house (I have several recommendations), night-time crab hunting and during the season, special equipment and instructions to watch baby turtles hatch!
Outside of the house, there are dolphin cruises and private fishing charters which are very popular. OWA and Waterville are popular waterparks in Gulf Shores. Going to the historic Fort Morgan, taking the Mobile Bay Ferry from there to Dauphin Island - which has a Sea Lab and an Audubon Bird Sanctuary. Going to see the USS Alabama battleship in Mobile. Fishing off the pier at Gulf State Park.
This is an area where you’ll never be able to do it all, so just dig in, have fun and don’t forget to take lots of relaxing beach breaks!

OTHER NOTES:
We just had a gas heater installed, which sets us apart from others because almost everyone else has an electric heater, which can only heat about 20 degrees above the air temperature. With our gas heater, we can heat to any temperature and it is not dependent on the air temp.
As much as this house is about getting out and enjoying the beach, we know that sometimes you just need your internet. We have internet through Starlink, to provide the fastest internet speeds on the island.
This home also has a full-size elevator, making bringing luggage or groceries up from the carport and into the house a breeze!
Guests often ask if we have beach equipment. Yes, we do - beach wagon, cooler on wheels, beach chairs and umbrellas.
We just installed an outdoor Ping Pong table and a small Putting Green underneath the house, right next to the Tiki Bar, grill, firepit and seating area. It's an awesome hangout space for family nights and rainy days!
Please note, due to life-threatening allergies in our family, animals are not permitted under any circumstances. Any violations of this policy will result in immediate eviction without refund and additional cleaning fees.

THE HOST:
Since we are landlocked most of the year in Colorado, we went looking for the perfect beach home. When we visited Gulf Shores we enjoyed how friendly the locals were and how laid back the place seemed. We stumbled upon this particular property while it was under construction and saw the opportunity - there are very few newly constructed homes on the beach in this area - most homes are older, as Gulf Shores has been a vacation destination for over 50 years! This is why we named our property ‘Serendib’ - the root of the word "serendipity" which means "unexpected good fortune"!
