Positive: The hotel is really amazing, very clean, very comfortable bed, cosy and modern rooms. Great location for walking in the city. And the most exceptional thing is the staff, they honestly would do anything to make your stay super comfy and amazing, especially Sahan and his collegues they made our stay 10xtimes better. But in general hotel is great and i hope they will keep their service on this level. We really liked the breakfast, especially local cheeses, and in general it was fresh and tasty everyday.

Positive: Small hotel with about 35 rooms. Staff demonstrated excellent customer relations and were fluent in English. Hotel newly built so modern high standard design and quality. Bed comfortable. Effective, quiet air conditioning. Breakfast restaurant at top floor with great views and comfortable seating and layout. Breakfast food and beverages high quality. Located in Yenikapi quarter in Fatih district on European side of Bosphorus. Close ( 5 minute walk) to Yenikapi Station, a major public transport centre accessing M1 and M2 metro lines, T6 tram and B2 suburban train line. Many restaurants, cafes and bars in vicinity.

Negative: Room too small. Another 1-2 square metres would have been very useful. Problem if you have a large suitcase, otherwise OK. Not solvable now, original architect and/or property developer stuff up.

Summary: New, well managed, small hotel in good location.

Positive: We stayed at this hotel in Istanbul for a family gathering, and it was truly an amazing experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and cared for. A special thanks to Sahand from Iran, who was exceptionally kind, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. He made our stay even more memorable with his thoughtful service. The hotel itself was clean, beautifully maintained, and perfectly located for exploring the city. We would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul, especially for family stays.

Positive: When I was reading reviews for this hotel I thought they were too good to be true, honestly. We spent there 4 nights and I can say it's one of the best hotels I ever stayed at. It's brand new and is located in a quiet place, yet it's close to several major public transport stops like Aksaray (where you can get on a shuttle bus to Istanbul airport). Room was very well organized and clean and housekeeping was superb and they even provided bottled water every day. Sound insulation is another thing I liked about this place as we didn't hear other guests or any noise from outside. Breakfast buffet was plentiful and the view of Bosphorus was also very nice. The staff is probably hotel key asset. I especially want to thank Ece who was serving food for us on the first morning of our stay and Ivan at the reception (I'm sorry I only memorized your Russian name). Keep up the good work!

Negative: The room I booked was supposed to have sea view but I was offered a city view room on the first floor and when I pointed at that Ivan offered me the room I wanted at no extra charge (I guess it was Booking fault for misleading me about the view). As somebody mentioned above, smoke alarm is blinking bright red at night which might be a bit annoying when you're trying to fall asleep at night but other than that I cannot think about any shortcomings. I will recommend Lunet Old City Hotel to all of my friends.
