Positive: We have just had a lovely long weekend in Thresher Cottage. Very clean with everything you need. The location is excellent woodland, fields and animals. The bonus was a heated swimming pool. Tracy was a very good host and informative. We only wish we had more time to explore more around Low Costa the site. We would certainly recommend Low Costa Mill and would love to return again sometime.

Positive: The property had everything we needed, it was clean and well equipped and the use of the pool was a real bonus the family really enjoyed their evening swim. The dog walking area and nature walk was perfect.

Negative: Can’t think of anything negative we would definitely stay again.

Summary: Great location , great accomodation and a great time had by us all.

Positive: The property is in a beautiful location, surrounded by beautifully maintained grounds. Unfortunately the weather was poor so we didn’t get to explore much but what we did see was stunning. The village of Pickering has plenty to do and it’s just a short drive into Scarborough for typical seaside activities. The homes were well equipped and very clean. Threshers house was slightly more dated than the smaller cottage in decor but lovely nonetheless. The hosts were friendly, accommodating and there for chats or questions about what to do in the local town. On departure day, they came to see us off and advised us of a lovely breakfast spot at the local farm shop prior to our drive home. Lovely laundry room to get ahead of the washing before heading home. Lovely pool and appreciated the ability to book private slots.

Negative: Very minor points of constructive feedback. The beds are quite firm and may benefit from mattress toppers to provide more comfort. Nowhere to hang wet towels in downstairs bedroom/shower of threshers cottage. Write up on booking.com is a little misleading as it read as a though it’s a completely private pool. This wasn’t an issues as it was quiet and there’s opportunity to book private slots, although the water was a tad cold.

Summary: Lovely hosts, beautiful location with plenty to do for all ages.
