Summary: We were in the area for a family gathering. Our group consisted of four siblings (62-69 years). The White House provided us with a comfortable place to sleep and spend time together outside of the large group activities. We enjoyed the beautiful setting and watching swans on the pond. We each said we'd like to spend more time enjoying the ambiance - and hope that we can soon.

Summary: Absolutely lovely and well-appointed home in a beautiful setting. Our group of five included grandparents (mid to late 70s) and us (a family of 3 with an 11 year-old) and the house was perfectly suited for us. The kitchen had everything we needed to make some memorable meals together. And so much room to spread out and lots of things to do (shooting pool, canoeing, campfires, yard games, board games, movies...). We slept well every night with the windows open to enjoy the night sounds and light breezes. There are no downsides to this property, at all! Just go, you won't regret it.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at the White House. The owners thought of every detail making our stay extremely relaxing and fun. The house is beautiful and it is obvious that a lot of thought and time went into decorating and making sure we as guests had everything we could possibly need during our stay, and the house was immaculate when we arrived. The setting is gorgeous, we had beautiful sunsets every night looking out over the water. We had six of us staying at the house, and it never felt cramped. We had plenty of space inside and out for us to enjoy. The game room basement was an extra bonus. We hope to visit the White House again soon. Thank you to the owners for making this a perfect place to spend our vacation up north!

Summary: Beautifully restored farmhouse in a prime location for all kinds of north woods adventures. We brought bikes and canoes and the option were endless. Also got a nice hike in the Porcupine Mountains. It’s close enough to town to run in easily for groceries or eating out. And just hanging at the house too, is it’s own vacation!
