Summary: We loved this home on such a beautiful, quiet lake. We lucked out and had perfect weather for kayaking and hiking on nearby trails. (We even had a little swim.) Would love to come back next summer. Cathy and Ron PS Enjoyed hearing the loons and watching the birds too.

Summary: Hands down the best VRBO rental for location and cost. Took my daughter Kayaking for a short 3 day vacation. Low to water surface dock made it easy in and out of the Lake. Lots to see Kayaking within Van Vliet Lake. If adventurous, cross over into Presqur isle lake without the need to portage across any land mass. The 2 bedrooms were clean and comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked and functional. This not to be taken lightly! Most cabins are sparse on dishers and flatware ! And finally, the outdoor area. Great for sitting around to read a book or start a campfire for those s'mores. Was so worth the 600 mile drive. We will be back!
