Positive: Beautiful little cottage with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Views from the hot tub were amazing. Dogs are welcome and there are some pleasant walks nearby including into a nearby village where Sunday lunch was amazing and dogs were also welcome. Very friendly owner who was happy to help us throughout our stay

Negative: The hot tub was lovely and hot and clean on arrival but wasn't checked again during our stay and it really was in need of water treatment.

Positive: Views were amazing, cottage was beautiful and close to shops.

Negative: The bed was incredibly uncomfortable unfortunately. We are not the tallest of people and we both struggled to fit in length ways and any time you moved it creaked, even the tiniest bit. It looks beautiful and fits with the decor but we would not stay again if this was kept.

Positive: Beautiful property view stunning views of the north York moors. We were also able to enjoy the clearest skies for a planetary parade in the hot tub! Mary and John were lovely hosts. Bed was comfy and log fire is a really nice touch, warmed us right up when the temperature dropped.

Negative: My only suggestion would be a couple of extra blankets for those colder nights, but if I’d have asked Mary and John I bet they’d have rustled some up for us - I just chose not to bother them since it was getting late. Otherwise a perfect stay!

Negative: Bed a little uncomfortable and a little short for the taller person. Would have been nice to have washing up liquid provided and ironing board and iron without the need to ask to use it from the hosts
