It’s modern and has everything you need To stay comfortable and sleep well after a full day of playing in our Hawaiian sun.
Unit has Mitsubishi air conditioner for hot summer days to keep you cool. Bedroom has a wall unit.
In Hawaii it’s common to see bugs, geckos, insects. Please don’t be alarmed.
The location is is ideal. Just 4.2 miles to Waikiki beach and 4.5 miles to Ala Moana shopping Center.
Just a 3 minute drive down our hill on Waialae Avenue are coffee shops, restaurants, banks, bakeries and more.
We live on property also so will be right here if you need us. Your unit shares laundry with another tenant.
Unit also has its own private parking stall.
Note: THE PROPERTY HAS A SLANT TO IT... Kind of like a ship. Also, there are 2 flights to descend when you arrive plus a flight of stairs to climb so this property is not for anyone that cannot go up
And down stairs.

Summary: A cosy little apartment with a stunning view. Nice quiet neighbourhood. Very helpful host. Definitely worth a visit.

Summary: My wife and I stayed here two nights on our honeymoon trip. The place was very cute and had everything we needed. The unit had updated finishes. The treats left by the owner were a lovely and appreciated gesture. It was comfortable and affordable for what it was. We were happy to see the listing updated to mention the tilt. When we originally booked that was not noted. It is definitely something to take note of. It was pretty trippy the first day but we did get used to it after a day and it wasn’t a huge deal then. Be aware the side streets to get here have huge hills and they are tight. A small to midsize car is best for navigating to and parking here. There is a large elevation change and our ears popped on the way up and down. Also don’t underestimate the stairs at the property. We had 4 bags of luggage and it was definitely a workout but doable. There were some paver stones at the bottom of the first flight of stairs off the driveway that could use some filler so they aren’t a tripping hazard. The owner of the property is on site and she communicated well with us and was very friendly when we crossed paths as we were leaving one day. For the price I would still recommend this place and consider staying here again.

Summary: New finishes, and had everything we needed. Location is a 5 star except for the 3 levels of stairs. We quickly learned the area, and found most activities to be within a 10 minute drive. Loren was kind and available, but left us alone. I had one request and she filled it pronto! Thanks Loren!!

Summary: My boyfriend and I absolutely loved this place. The house was very clean and filled with many amenities! The view of the ocean and Koko Head was breath taking every day that we were there. It's very convenient next to the freeway if we want to go to Waikiki or other parts of the island. There's also plenty of good restaurants just at the bottom of the hill. Honestly wish we could have stayed longer, thanks Loren!

Summary: The property was clean, updated and had just what we needed for our two week stay. Loren was pleasant to interact with and responsive to our needs. The location was far enough from the bustle of the city but still very easy to get into for more touristy field trips. On the days we needed to commute to Kanehoe or wanted to visit Kailua, the ride was no trouble at all. Super easy to get from the house to the highway! We also took the short drive down to Waialae Ave and enjoyed dinner at those restaurants. We would highly recommend the Sierra Hideaway!

Summary: What a great little place with a view to match. The view of Diamond Head Crater and rainbows on our drive down the hill each morning made the stay even better. The property is sparkling clean, well appointed & has loads of little extras like all basics for cooking each day, a few spices and laundry access. All in a beautiful and safe neighborhood, thanks Loren for a great place to stay while we were in the area.

Summary: Loren, our host, was lovely and the unit was peaceful, updated and perfectly appointed. The queen bed was very comfortable. The home is high on a hill and the ocean views and breezes were delightful. There is a small Juliet style balcony that offers a serene place to sit and enjoy your morning coffee. If you would like to stay out of the hustle and bustle of the Waikiki area this is a terrific option. Shops and dining wear a few miles away. 1 parking space, air conditioning and washer/dryer usage are included. I can’t think of anything we needed that wasn’t there. The only thing to be aware of is that to get to the unit you need to descend 2 flights of stairs and then up a single flight. I do not recall seeing this in the property description so those with mobility issues should consider this.
