This Country Cottage is situated in a quiet and beautiful wooded area southeast of downtown Kansas City. It is on one level, has key-less access and private parking. It has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a sofa sleeper in the living area to comfortably sleep 6. Guests will enjoy a full, well-equipped kitchen, laundry room, and outdoor living space. With an open layout it has a spacious and welcoming feel. The large master bedroom has a king-size bed, 2 closets, and master bath with a shower and jetted tub, as well as 2 sinks. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed, a desk and closet, and access to the second bathroom, which has a shower. There is also access to the second bathroom from the hall. Summary: The “cottage” is a lovely home on a hill that is private from the owners house on a large acreage that includes a horse paddock. The home was well stocked with everything required, spotless, and tasteful. A wrap around covered deck was relaxing in the evening and perfect for morning breakfast. The highlight was a visit by our son’s family and most memorable our young grandkids feeding apples to the very friendly horse on the property. We would definitely want to stay there again.

Summary: Group of friends that were down in the KC area for the weekend. The place was easy to get to following the GPS direction. Only tricky part was the last bit of driveway before the house, kind of a tight switch back on gravel that had a manual transmission car struggling.The house was great because it had two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a laundry that we were able to use. This allowed everyone enough space to spread out and relax. The kitchen was nice, but we didn't use it. Check out was easy. Would book again.

Summary: The cottage was exactly as described. It was peaceful, clean, decorated so cute, and comfortable. We especially loved the wrap around porch and sat outside every morning listening to the birds. We slept great, and the spacious bathrooms were a dream. Wish I had enough time to use the jet tub. The Goodmans, the owners were very nice and welcoming. Thank you for the cookies and for sharing your property with us for the weekend. We will definitely return when we are in the Kansas City area. Highly recommend!

Summary: The property is amazing! The house is beautiful and very comfortable. It was very peaceful and relaxing and still close enough to anything you need. The house has a wonderful wrap around porch to sit outside and enjoy the beauty. It was more beautiful than we could ever imagined! Anytime we are going to Kansas City area we will stay here!

Summary: Been here for 3 years now for our small family gathering location. Probably the best location we have been to and we do these 2 or 3 times a year. Host is the most attentive of all that I have experienced. Highly recommend if wanting a quiet space for a small gathering.
