The Albert is a beautiful home that can comfortably sleep 8 people. In its spacious living room, a large couch awaits you and your glass of wine for a quiet moment of relaxation! It's literally the only house in the tiny town of Albert, Texas, and it's directly across the street from the famous Albert Ice House and the historic Albert Dance Hall!
It was purchased in December of 2018 and lovingly remodeled inside and out. Its decor, attention to detail, and amenities are second to none. Additionally, The Albert’s kitchen appliances are all top of the line, and certain to be much appreciated by self-proclaimed chefs and foodies alike! As one would expect, this kitchen comes stocked with a full complement of plate ware, flatware, serving platters, glassware, wine glasses, and many other little necessities for those wishing to dine in.
The town of Albert is surrounded on three sides by farmland, yet situated conveniently on the main road for easy access to nearby attractions. Narrow Path is our nearest winery, with expansive views of the Texas Hill Country and a gorgeous indoor/outdoor space to relax in. Also, close by in Hye, Texas, William Chris' award-winning wines are sure to delight and certainly deserve a spot on your weekend’s bucket list!
If you tire of wine, pop into Garrison Brother's Distillery for a bourbon flight or attend one of their special events. If you're a history buff make your way to Lyndon B. Johnson State Park, historic Johnson City, or the Nimitz Museum in Fredericksburg.

Summary: A group of ladies and I stayed here for our annual girls Christmas trip. The house was beautiful and clean. We walked across the street one night and went to the Albert Icehouse and Dancehall. The refrigerator was not working properly. The ice maker was not working and the fridge was not keeping the food properly cold. I reached out to the property manager and got an immediate response. The issue could not fixed during our stay. Which was a bummer but it wasn’t a big deal for us. The communication was amazing! The 2 things I would have liked to see in the house was window covering and TV’s in the bedrooms. Overall 5 star rating and definitely stay there again.

Summary: Only issue with the place was the AC would freeze up and we would periodically have to turn the AC up to allow condenser to thaw out. Wouldn’t mind some curtains in the bed rooms so you aren’t woken up at daylight. Other than that, great stay.

Summary: We loved our stay. Property was very clean and comfortable. Short drive to several wineries. Huge bonus....this house was literally across the street from Albert Ice House. Everything we were looking for in a booking.

Summary: Location is great! Home is beautiful and very clean. Only issue was the keyless entry. Our code did not work. The company that managed the property did not have the correct code. We were told that they would have someone come out the following morning. No one came, but I did call back and get the correct code. The only way that we could enter the property was by going through a crawl space. Good thing we had a couple of small people staying with us. Bring your own bottled water, as the filtered water is poor quality.

Summary: Convenient - easy check-in - Clean and spacious. not a thing out of place. Love he Town of Albert - across from the historic Ice House, Dance Hall and one room school house. On the Vineyard Wine Trail as well.
