Summary: We had a great week staying here, Alessandra and her family were so welcoming. It’s a great base from which to explore Pompeii, Herculaneum, Vesuvius etc as well as the well known beautiful coastal towns. It’s also close to the beach at Maori, which we loved. Make sure you get all the local info on arrival at the house. We wasted much of the first day trying to suss it out! It would be really helpful to have a few tips - about restaurants, ferries, supermarkets/local shops, parking, beaches etc, written in the house, although Alessandra was available on the phone and always happy to help if we asked. The house itself is basic but comfortable. Thank you for a lovely visit!
