Lovely quiet cottage set on lifestyle block with many chickens and sheep. 3 minutes driving to fabulous Waiotahi beach and only 10 minutes into Opotiki for cafes, murals and the famous opp. shop trail. Handy for Motu Cycle Way.
Ample on site parking. Lovely free-range eggs, home-baked bread with home made preserves, fruit off our own trees in season.

Summary: accomodation was exactly as expected , its clean not luxury , the stand out was the little personal/ homely touches . a peice of fruit cake on arrival , fresh eggs and the bread in the morning fresh from the bread baker. Would stay again but its a fair distance from home.

Summary: I had a marvelous stay. The host was an absolute joy. Easy and pleasant to communicate with. Respected my privacy. The complimentary homemade loaves of bread and jams were absolutely delicious and bought back such wonderful memories of my mother's and nana's home made produce when growing up. The free range eggs were so delicious. Regarding the location, I stayed for four nights. I heard one truck in all that time. The other sounds were the hens, birds and insects. If ever I am back in the area I will definitely be staying here. Thank you again for such welcoming hospitality and very relaxing stay. The batch is very clean also...10/10 overall.

Summary: Lovely 1 night stay as this cozy little property. Chris was a fantastic host. She provided homemade bread and homemade jams for our breakfast, it was delicious. Very comfy bed, would recommend this place to anyone looking for a short stay

Summary: Very nice owner and provide a fresh baked loaf in the morning. Very tidy place but a bit dated. For me the morning traffic was a bit of a nuisance. Trucks made the cabin shake.
