Summary: Big spacious place, nice rooms and a lot of beds. The snow made it look like a winter wonderland. The fireplace heated the front room nicely. The stores right across the street. Really loved our stay and we will be booking spikes place again.

Summary: This is a spacious condo with plenty of rooms and levels. The location is very convenient (with a nice market right across the street) but does have some noise from the road. The surrounding area and neightborhood are very nice. It's about a 5 mintue drive to Truckee. The condo itself has everything you need. There is some water damage on the interior walls, and the furnishings are a little dated. But it has character too! We didn't use the rec center, so can't comment, but it is just a short walk away.
