3 Bedroom House in Guia de Isora

Finca Eden is a rural country house, sleeps 6, (3 double bedrooms, one with an ensuite bathroom and an additional family bathroom.) a baby cot us a available. The villa is all on one level but there are three steps into the front terrace. which is set in a 10,000 sq.m.fruit growing Finca. It is situated on the West coast of Tenerife between the villages of Guia de Isora and Playa San Juan, 380m above sea level. The house is nestled on the side of the Barranco Rodrigo with views of the mountains and sea. Entering the grounds through the secure gates, there is parking for two cars, front garden and cobbled courtyard leading to a stone pergola which houses a bread/pizza oven and a covered seating area for 12 people, a barbecue area which leads onto the gates of the Finca. We are ecologically friendly and grow bananas, mangos, avocados,oranges, mandarins, clenentines, pomegranates, lemons, limes grapes, figs,fresh herbs and Aloe Vera, Moringa and Neem with homeopathic properties which are all available to guests when in season. We also have fresh farm eggs provided by our own free range hens when they are laying!. At the back of the house is a 100 sq.m. enclosed patio with a 7 x 5 heated swimming pool, a solar heated shower, 6 sunbeds, 2 sun shades, a table with six chairs and a large L shaped sofa, and a table. On the side terrace there is also a sofa and two chairs. Towelling robes and beach towels are available for the use of our guests. Beyond the gates there are extensive raised beds with a selection of fresh herbs and other seasonal greenery and a lovely swinging seat under the grapevines and terraced orchards. At the side of the house overlooking the Barranco, is a veranda to catch the morning sun and relax and have a coffee. The kitchen is fully equipped but we have other appliances available on request - juicer, ice cream maker, slow cooker, pressure cooker, steamer, air fryer, paella pan and gas ring.
We live in an apartment close by so if you need anything you can call us. We clean the pool and check the temperature so if you require the pool to be heated please inform us when you book. We recommend that you book a hire car ( CICAR are excellent and best to book on line )as we are in a rural location (6 minutes to the village of Guia de Isora which has restaurants, bars, chemist, supermarkets, gift shop, medical centre, and Gym, Banks and a Post Office) and 12 minutes to the beautiful beaches of Playa San Juan and Alcala and 20 minutes to Los Gigantes.Main centres of Las Americas and Los Cristianos are 20 minutes away. We supply a welcome pack with water, milk, tea, coffee,sugar, eggs from our own chickens (when available)and fruit and homemade preserves from the Finca when available The pantry in the house is stocked with the basics salt, pepper,pasta, rice, stock cubes, cooking oil.etc. and we supply shower gel and hand soap, washing powder, dishwasher tabs and cleaning equipment and products for your first week's stay. All linen and towels are supplied including beach towels and robes. We change linen every two weeks if you require a weekly change, the cost of which is €50 for all three beds and towels, please let us know. We have IPTV TV available in 50 different languages including German, French and Italian and of course, all UK channels and Netflix, film channels and 300 other channels. and WIFI internet. books, games, films and a music system. All windows have mosquito Blinds. A heater is available in the winter months and higher tog duvets for the beds, though we use these very rarely.

So much has changed at Finca Eden! , we now have additional solar power and lighting, the pool now has steps to enter making it easier for children. We are growing a huge variety of organic fruit and veg now.

Summary: We had an incredible stay at this gorgeous Finca. The property was stocked with absolutely everything you could need and had an amazing terrace and gloriously warm swimming pool! It's in a really quiet rural area with lovely views of the surrounding area, but within easy reach of amenities and all the island's attractions. The hosts, Cheryl and Paul, are the loveliest and most helpful people you could possibly meet and made us extremely welcome, regularly communicating suggestions and recommendations both before and during our stay. We cannot recommend this place highly enough

Summary: The main problem with Finca Eden is that, once you are there, you never want to leave. It is a location that you will never forget. And you will never experience more attentive or friendly hosts than Cheryl and Paul. Nothing was too much trouble. They manage to achieve the ideal mix of being available (as they live on site) but never intrusive.The villa is very homely and has everything you could possibly need for a vacation, down to the finest detail.We really appreciated the homemade jam and chutney on arrival (delicious) as well as tea, coffee, milk and water. And eggs from their own chickens.We also really enjoyed our time in the heated pool and in the comfortable seating around the deck area.Overall, the week was a great experience and we very much hope to return in the not too distant future.

Summary: Our hosts were great and the house nice and equipped with everything you can think of. You should know though that the house has no heating or air conditioning and because of its location in a valley there is no sun after 5 pm in winter. That means evenings in winter can be chilly. Cheryl gave us us a little electric heater. That helped.

Summary: From the start Cheryl the host has been nothing more than the most amazing host-caring, sharing of where to go and just oozing of positivity.The house itself is spot on, location beautiful, hot swimming pool and way and beyond amenities. Summary: We had a lovely week here in November 2024. Cheryl and Paul were unintrusive perfect hosts. They greeted us warmly and we wished we had invited them over for a drink one evening but hindsight is a wonderful thing. The villa is well equipped and very clean. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. The views are stunning. The pool was heated rather than solar heated which meant we could swim anytime and it was lovely and warm. To anyone wanting a warm pool in November this is the place for you. We wanted a quiet relaxing holiday and that is what we got. When we arrived it was getting dark and Cheryl bought us some food so that we could make dinner rather than have to drive to a supermarket which was incredibly thoughtful. We cannot recommend this villa enough. Thanks again to our hosts Cheryl and Paul.

Summary: Stayed for a week in April 2024. Had a warm welcome from the owners on arrival, and they were friendly and helpful throughout. The house had a great heated pool on the terrace and a lovely covered dining/ seating area which got a lot to of use throughout our stay. Everything was spotless and well equipped. Had a great trip and would def recommend!

Summary: We, 2 couples from Germany in their 60ies, spent 11 days at this lovely finca and its charming owners Cheryl and Paul. Both of them were very welcoming and did everything to make our stay pleasant and comfortable. We chose the place as we did not want to live in one of the mass tourism „urbanicaciones“. The finca has a big garden with mango and lemon trees, avocados as well different herbs. Everything is grown organic. Cheryl brought us eggs from their own hens! All appliances in the finca were working perfectly. The water pressure and temperature of the showers was perfect. The kitchen was excellently equipped. Even with cooling pads and shopping bags. We missed nothing. Beds and mattresses are always a matter of taste, for us they were very good. The terrace where we had breakfast is more than 100sqm, including a small swimming pool The outside furniture is of great quality. Be sure to have a car for your stay. Travelling to the next village Guia de Isora to some quite nice restaurants is about 10 minutes by car. From there you can also take buses to different destinations. The bus system seems to be working fine. Our holiday at the finca will be in the chart of the the Top Ten best places we have went to since 1985.
