Positive: It was so comfortable and clean. The beds were so comfy and warm. The heating was a perfect temperature throughout we never felt cold or too hot. The decor and furniture is lovely and different and I’m quite jealous lol 😂

Negative: The showers was a minor thing but the one downstairs wasn’t powerful to my liking but thats a personal preference. My friend used the one upstairs and it went cold halfway through her washing her hair lol

Summary: Christiane was very communicative and friendly. The house is lovely and welcoming and cozy. Thankyou for letting us stay

Positive: Lovely village location - by a main road but not too noisy for most of the bedrooms. Comfortable bedrooms (one is on the ground floor which was ideal for one of our guests). Well equipped kitchen, lovely sun room, and walking distance of really good gastro pub The Dewdrop Inn.

Negative: The electric showers had low water pressure so it was difficult to get a consistent temperature. We hope to stay again and the owners has said she will look into the water pressure/shower provision.

Summary: Lovely comfortable cottage, ideally located for exploring Worcester.

Positive: Very convenient location and field next door to walk dog. Elgar's birthplace just down road with nice cafe and very dog friendly.

Negative: Received a message the morning of our arrival saying to keep the dog only in kitchen or conservatory. Wouldn't have booked if I'd known that at outset. Hard floors throughout so unnecessary and conservative far too hot to leave dog in. TV so far up wall need to stand up to make remote work properly!

Positive: The beds were OK. Great to have a washing machine.

Negative: There is too much personal stuff in the house getting dusty and dirty. The cutlery drawers were not tidy and in them were things that didn't belong. The dishwasher drawers were dirty and brown with rust and therefore couldn't be used. We had to wash everything in the kitchen before we could use it. The owner I believe is very creative and artistic and one could see this in the decoration of the house, but it was a DIY disaster. Nothing had been cleaned to high standards. It was a challenge to park the car at the back of the property and had one of the two side by side spaces been occupied it would have been impossible. The front parking space was also not ideal.

Positive: The cottage is lovely and spacious with good, clean sized rooms, a nice garden and comfortable furnishings. The whole house is nicely decorated and the cupboards are fully stocked with the usual amenities you would expect to find. There are two pubs nearby where you can go for drinks and food, and a nice big grassy common across the road to walk the dog. The cottage looks just like it does in the pics. Christiane, the host, was always quick to respond to any queries or issues which was great.

Negative: If you don't drive, the location of the property can be tricky to find. (The property is immediately before Laylocks lane.) Being so rural, I had trouble getting a strong signal so calling a taxi wasn't always so easy. For anyone reliant on taxies, you may want to stay more centrally in Worcester to save on cab fare. If you're happy to be more remote, allow extra time for calling and finding someone who will pick up. There may not always be available cabs in the area.

Summary: Lovely, comfortable stay. A bit remote but not much of an issue if you're driving.

Positive: The host was excellent, answering all our questions and allowing us to arrive a little earlier than usual to check in. The house itself was pleasant and in an excellent location, just a short drive from the city centre.

Negative: Cooking was an issue as utensils weren't the cleanest and didn't appear that they had been cleaned in a while. Similarly the hand towel in the bathroom had stains on which indicated that cleaning hadn't taken place.

Summary: Good stay with a few issues.
