Positive: I love big, old houses. The house was beautiful and our room was cozy and comfy. Parker made a delicious eggs Benedict for breakfast and Karen is a lovely host.

Negative: There is not a fridge or coffee maker in the room, but there is a shared Keurig in the hallway.

Negative: We didn’t realize we had booked a room on the third floor. It would have been better if we could have stayed on the second floor. Stairs are difficult for me

Positive: The room was great, had a great view, comfy bed. Only thing I would caution is that our room was on the third floor with no elevator. We solved the issue by only bring up a small bag and leaving our large suitcases in the car. Hands down best included breakfast! Louisbourg was a beautiful little town, probably one of my favorites. Fortress of Louisbourg was fantastic. We had the privilege of attending the Celtic Colours concert at the Fortress. Amazing!! On the way there, we stopped at Louisbourg Lighthouse Coastal Trail which was recently completed after Hurricane Fiona destroyed it in 2022.
