Positive: Stayed here before for a week as my Father in a local Nursing Home. As before it was a great stay. Parking across the road, easy access with key code, short flight of carpeted stairs which helps clean shoes as rest of Apartment has no carpets but laminate flooring tiles which was recently washed ready for us. Fresh, Clean and well stocked Apartment. Everything you could want for cooking, eating, washing clothes. Saucepans, fridge cooker and cupboards very clean. Few Tea, coffee items tidily left by other guests. As were some cleaning items in cupboard under the sink. Felt instantly comfortable. Shower is good and washing machine/dryer good and also very clean internally. A TV in every room is a bonus. The Bedrooms are fresh and clean. The larger has a built in wardrobe and the most beautifully carved wooden bed...the single a lovely old wooden wardrobe. User friendly radiators and air con. The Owner although we never met in person which is the only reason I cant give a top mark. He was always prompt with responses and clear with instructions and friendly. It is clear a lot of thought and planning and care was put into the Apartment. We had a problem working out the hot water and he helped us straight away via FaceTime so he could show us which button to press. He also invited us to a music event. Last time I visited I commented about a lack of a mirror in a Guest room and this time it was there on the back of the door which was really helpful. My father loved his visits there during the day and kept commenting on how nice the Apartment was. I would book this again if my Father is still able to manage the stairs.

Negative: Minor things...none of the windows can open which is probably safer as they are old sash windows...the blinds which are used in the lounge area need changing. 2 open as meant to the other 2 are broken and its weird sitting in there with no blind down at night or having to risk breaking them more by trying to manually pull them down and roll them up. Time consuming and lets the place down a little as rest of it is user friendly. The tap in the sink in the bathroom needs tightening. Massively minor details in an otherwise lovely Apartment.
