Positive: Well located for our purposes. We had a room each. A good kitchen with fresh local oranges!

Negative: If I had been travelling with my husband, we would have had an argument over who would get the side of the bed with the reading light!

Positive: The house is well located a little south of the centre but level walking distance. Coles, a newsagent and KMart are just around the corner. There is a terrific butcher a couple of doors away. Two very small, well- spaced steps from the street and front courtyard and a low shower hob, the rest level access throughout. Well equipped kitchen, sunny rear courtyard, lovely decor. Quiet neighbourhood. Enjoyed the home grown oranges the owner provided!

Negative: Only 2 downsides we could say might affect people depending on their needs are the single bathroom and no WiFi.

Positive: The cottage is centrally located, less than a thirty-minute from central Broken Hill and the train station. Coles supermarket is a five-minute walk. It was clean and beautifully presented throughout, with a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, quality bath linen and attractive artworks. Even though it is located on a main road, any traffic noise is virtually inaudible. Street parking in front of the cottage was convenient. Erica is a delightful hostess and made us feel very welcome.

Negative: There was little to fault with this property.

Positive: The cottage was spotless and comfortable. The bath towels were lovely good quality. The heater was fabulous. Plenty of room for five adults.

Negative: Probably the lounges could be a bit higher off the ground not a complaint just an observation.

Positive: Thanks to our hosts Erica & Ken, we couldn’t have wished for a more pleasant and perfect place to stay. My friends and I were blown away by how good this was. The location is within close walking distance of the city centre and a Cole’s supermarket just around the corner for all you needs at the cottage so you can self cater or walk into the city for a meal as we had flown in. Walking was fine and a good way to look around at the historic sites along the way. The tourist information centre is a short walk towards the city centre with a great coffee shop and all the information and tours you could want.

Negative: There was nothing that I could see to dislike.

Summary: This is a perfect place to stay for a couple of days or longer with everything you need or want.
