Positive: Willie was extremely kind and helpful with a concern I had. He couldn’t have been nicer.

Negative: There was nothing not to like about this property. It’s set in beautiful grounds with a lovely garden and beautiful trees, especially the Willow trees. It was so peaceful. The bed was extremely comfortable and I had a fantastic night’s sleep. There was a lovely kitchen / sitting room to cook food and watch some TV.

Positive: Breakfast not expected or provided. Location was lovely. Out in the countryside and about 20 minutes from Rosslare Harbour.

Negative: I liked everything including Willie who owns the property. It is perhaps the cleanest property I’ve ever stayed at. There was nothing I disliked.

Summary: We only stayed for one night and the property was perfect. Couldn’t be better. Highly recommend.

Positive: Lovely setting, really quiet, not too far from shops etc. Everything supplied for an enjoyable stay We booked long acre lodge last minute as the accommodation that had been booked for us was very poor. When we arrived everything was as described on the listing. The property was lovely and clean and very well presented with a well equipped kitchenette, nice sofa and comy beds, lovely shower with supplied towels.

Negative: Squeaky bathroom door if I have to be picky

Positive: It was lovely to arrive and meet the owner, lovely to find milk, tea bags/ coffee all there and it is just a lovely comfortable warm hideaway.

Negative: Heat was controlled by the owner. Difficult to stay warm when owner decides when you get heat. Dogs on the property poorly trained, jumping up on your clothing at every opportunity. I appreciate the owner wants to have dogs as I am a dog owner myself however having the dogs roam free on the property during arrival of guests may be an issue for some guests. A guide providing information on how to manage things like hot water, heat, door locking would be useful. Guests want to be in place and enjoying themselves from the moment they arrive not relying on the owner when they are available. The host was very friendly.
