Positive: Wellington Cottage is a beautiful period cottage located close to the centre of Wexford town, (within walking distance). It is located just inside the gate of the property owned by the host, who came to meet us, give a brief overview (contact numbers), and handed over the keys. There is parking right beside the property so it was possible to move items from the car to the house really quickly. The grounds are beautiful and the area feels very safe. The inside of the property is an excellent blend of period and modern. It is bright and airy, and packed with lots of quality appliances. The main living area is an open-plan kitchen sitting-room and includes a large island at the kitchen-end for dining. There is a large-screen TV and high-speed WiFi - access details were provided by the host. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and cooking equipment. There are two large comfortable couches in the sitting area. The double-bedroom is located just off the entrance hallway and contains a comfortable bed, wardrobe, lockers, etc. The shower room is located off the kitchen, through a small utility corridor, and has a large shower area behind the handbasin and toilet. Wellington cottage is the kind of place where you can immediately relax and feel at home. We were lucky to have beautiful weather so it was possible to sit and relax outside in the patio area in the evenings. As all the windows could be fully opened it was possible to have fresh air inside at all times. In summary, would heartily recommend the property for short and longs stays in Wexford.

Positive: The location was quiet and close to the city center. The appliances and fittings within the house were modern and sleek. There was a clothes washer and a dish washing machine. Plenty of flatware and silverware for a good size family. Loved the private parking lot.

Negative: Nothing I didn’t like. Loved the whole property.
