Positive: The owners were really (exceptionally) friendly and it was a really beatifull estate. The homes were spacious. The outdoor swimming pool was really nice. Also really childfriendly place. The meals were nice too.
Negative: I think the homes themselves could be more beautifully decorated/styled. The main chateau of course has its own style, which matches its history, but the holiday homes would benefit from some more styling.

Positive: A very nice place, with the best view: the most beautiful castle surrounded by a big piece of land. We very much liked our own ‘appartment’, hidden away at the side of the field. It was very spacious, nice beds, comfy couch inside and lovely terrace outside. Outside there are so many things to do (especially for kids), two pools (!), huge playfield, pétanque, etc. Besides all this hosts Benedicte & Paul are super friendly & helpful.
Negative: Can’t think of much.. The only thing: terrace around the outside pool is quite small - but Benedicte told us about the renovation plans for it, to expand it, this fall. Good idea ! (That’ll make the place perfect :))
Summary: Great place to unwind & relax !

Positive: We had a wonderful stay. Cottage was well equipped, swimming pools were great, and there were lots of toys for our young son to play with outside too. We ate every night at the Chateau and the food/wine were exceptional, as were the hosts, Paul and Benedicte.
Negative: Nothing
Summary: Amazing stay in the beautiful Loire Valley and we can’t wait to go back!

Both our boys were also a huge fan of Lola! The location of Chateau Vary is also perfect for visiting Angers, Saumur, Tours and everywhere in between.
Summary: Exceptional Chateau
