Positive: Wonderful friendly owners - room excellent with terrace behind for evening sun. Great restaurant with amazing food and wonderful breakfast ( including amazing home made pastries and local cheese and jams etc ( and fresh orange juice )

Negative: A lot of stone steps going to the terrace up to the rooms ! A Very pricey stay over here ! Our meal and drinks were expensive! !

Positive: I really enjoyed my one night stay at the Auberge de Chrissay. I was met with a warm welcome and shown to a very comfortable, well appointed and clean room with stunning views over the Loire Valley. The auberge is located in a beautiful village with very interesting buildings and an old church. Well worth spending a bit of time exploring. The evening meal can only be described as exceptional and breakfast was also excellent and good value for money. Overall, an excellent stay with super friendly and welcoming hosts. Would definitely recommend

Positive: Amazing views from the room and the best meal we have had during a 4 week stay in France. Lovely people!

Negative: No air conditioning so open windows meant flies in the bedroom. Very quiet small village but there was a surprising amount of traffic on the road outside our room. Very limited hours for check in/out,breakfast.
