Positive: The two bedroom lodge at Logierait Pine Lodges was spacious and comfortable, providing (largely) everything that we needed. The beds were comfortable and clean, as was the living room with a lovely couch to relax on. The kitchen had everything one would need with a mid-size fridge/freezer, microwave, hob, stove, etc. The location of the lodge is also really wonderful. The river runs behind the lodges and is easily accessed via a walking path. Two national cycle routes depart from nearby the lodges, providing excellent cycling, running, and walking. It is also easy to access many sites like Blair House, whitewater rafting, etc. The owners of the lodges were also really wonderful as they were super responsive to questions/issues. The lodge also has a lovely honesty fridge with milk, etc. and a complimentary washer and dyer.

Negative: The water pressure in our lodge was pretty abysmal (photo attached was the best we could get for the shower). Unfortunately it appeared to be an issue that could not be fixed (the owners came to check it out). The low water pressure made taking a shower not so pleasant as it took quite some time to get your hair fully wet (if you have long hair), etc. The lodges are right next to each other, which means that if your neighbors are quiet, then all is good. If your neighbors are sitting out on the small deck talking (and not loudly) and you have your windows open to let the cool air in...well, you will hear them. It was fine, but just something to be aware of.

Positive: Ideal location and lovely lodges, clean and just about everything needed for self catering. The kitchen was ideal for our cooking needs, bedrooms were comfortable and balcony was especially nice.

Negative: There wasn't much to dislike but if being picky, we would have liked a dish drying rack and a first aid kit. Also the light above the hob was out. But these were very minor details.

Summary: Really enjoyed having everything we needed in the Lodge.

Positive: It was so well set out - everything you needed . A really comfortable bed - we slept so well . Lovely cosy fairy lights made us feel welcome .

Negative: There was a lovely mirror and a nearby plug in the bedroom but no small shelf to put your make up or hair brush on .
