Positive: Beautiful apartment, very quiet neighborhood, comes with the occasional dog visits in the back 😄

Negative: All communication with the lender was overtly aggressive and disconcerting, to the point of making me doubt this was a real listing. You can be clear and direct without being intimidating. That being said, all information was 100% correct and I was able to add an additional person last minute, which is highly appreciated.

Positive: Clean, spacious, nice furnishings. Clear entry instructions.

Negative: The recommendation or request to leave the back door unlocked, not bolted, did not feel safe when there is an open patio and alley outside the property. While I was there, I did deadbolt. But when I left, I undid the bolt per the instructions.

Summary: Debolt the back door during your stay.

Positive: The apartment is very clean and has a lot of natural light. It is a cute building on a quiet residential street, but it is only a block from a major bus line and a Metra stop that goes directly to the train station.

Positive: Great communication from the owner. Very clean apartment with well equipped kitchen (except for empty paper towel holder) and bathroom. The queen bed mattress was very comfortable. Parking was easy.

Negative: The living room could use one more comfortable chair - the couch only seats three. The rude neighbor’s incessantly barking dog right under the bedroom window made it impossible to sleep in. The double bed mattress was just okay.

Summary: I would stay here again
