This is the perfect getaway for a family group of 8 or a couples retreat. The spacious layout provides a dining room and table to seat 8, with a pub table to seat additional guests. Two upstairs master suites with bathrooms in each, gorgeous views and custom beds. Summary: The view from the deck of the mountains was so beautiful. We saw deer, wild turkey, fox, chipmunks, ground squirrels and loads of birds.The house was well stocked in the kitchen and laid out perfectly for us.

Summary: This property is absolutely beautiful and is away from everything which is great but only 15 minutes to Durango. The house is beautiful and spacious and the wrap around deck has a wonderful view of the snow capped mountains. The property is very clean and great water pressure for the showers. Some local wild life visited (mule deer and tons of anoles). I will definitely stay here again upon a return to ride the Durango-Silverton Narrow Gauge railroad again which was awesome. The station is 15 minutes away. Had a great stay!

Summary: The short drive to town made everything super convenient while still keeping the getaway peaceful and idyllic. And let me just say, the hosts were amazing—super responsive and helpful, especially when we found ourselves in the middle of a massive snowstorm (talk about an adventure!).Without a doubt, we’d book this place again in a heartbeat! The only thing that could have made it even more perfect? If our pups could have joined in on the fun! But even so, this stay was unforgettable. Highly recommend!

Summary: We loved our stay. The area is so quiet and peaceful with amazing views from every angle! We had an issue with the water heater and the owners were on it right away and had the issue taken care of immediately.
