2 Bedroom Cabin in Augusta

Unique full log cabin home that sits on 3 acres with incredible views overlooking the pond from a cliff. The home offers some fun outdoor activities such as a quick hike on the trail that takes you down below. There, you can take a stroll around or fish in the pond. Although we are in the country, the home is conveniently located 5 mins east of downtown Augusta. Our cabin is a great place for a couples retreat, anniversaries, date nights or time away to unplug and enjoy nature! The cabin is very spacious with a full kitchen, dining area and living room. The uniqueness of the log cabin provides a comfy cozy feel throughout the entire home. The loft has a desk for those traveling for work/business. There is also a washer & dryer available to guests. We do provide coffee/cream/sugar, granola bars and instant oatmeal. We offer fast and reliable wifi and there is plenty of parking space for those traveling with a trailer/camper/boat etc.
Enjoy breakfast and/or coffee & wine on the large back deck or on the front porch which has a small round high table and bar stool to indulge in the relaxing sounds of nature, wildlife and feel the countryside breeze! Each season brings a different kind of beauty to our lovely home. Stargaze next to the crackling fire in the fire pit while roasting marshmallows; a perfect way to end the day.
House Rules:
- NO SMOKING. There will be a $500 fine with any evidence of smoking inside the home.
- Absolutely no partying/disturbing the neighbors
- No pets. There will be a $300 with any evidence of a pet(s)

Summary: The property was very clean and cozy like it is listed. It is a log cabin, which is pretty nice as log cabins go. We had one hiccup upon arrival as a necessary item was not supplied. Contact with the manger was not returned until late that evening and by that time my wife and I had gone out and gotten what was missing. The next day the owner did come by and bring us a few things the property needed which was appreciated. It was a clean and comfy place to kick back and relax for a few days.

Summary: Upon arrival you couldn't tell the landscaping from the weeds. They list the property with queen size bed upstairs, it's not!! The bed is a full (maybe). The futon was bigger than the bed. I informed them of a leak in upstairs bathroom faucet and both outlets broke. Git no response. Downstairs carpet in hall disgusting!! Master bed falling apart. This place needs a little help.
