Positive: Location is the best thing about the place. It definitely needs a bit of TLC. Could do with an upgrade. We were offered a free clean on the fourth day of the stay… however, cleaning ladies arrived at four in the afternoon rather than 9:30 in the morning as discussed and we already had plans so we couldn’t let them in. We did get clean towels and bed sheets.

Negative: Kitchen was unusable… lots of bits missing including a sponge to wash dishes, dish detergent, etc Didn’t feel comfortable cooking anything there. AC was making weird noises at times and it doesn’t reach the bedroom much. The entire bedroom is quite cramped. Not much room for two people to move around.

Summary: Best location but have realistic expectations about the size of the place and amenities

Negative: I was watching TV and lodging send me a message that the neighbor complained about the noise, and in the stairs weed odor, no AC in the room I have to sleep in the sofa.

Positive: This flat is all about the location, location, location.

Negative: Toilet was broken and did not have toilet for first 24 hours of stay! The person that delivered the key said she reported it but then when we called the next morning the office seemed like they knew nothing about it. Had to give permission for them to enter apartment when we were not there which we didnt like since they do NOT have a safe in the apartment but need it fixed and we obviously have plans. Returned later that afternoon and it was fixed. Just for info...1) This flat is up 3 flights of stairs 2) Much smaller than the pictures. 3) The washing machine is very small and you will need to hang your clothes out on the rack off the tiny balcony off the bedroom. 4) The kitchen is NOT for cooking any kind of meal..mainly for heating leftovers or easy breakfast. 5) The closet is an IKEA modular thing with baskets so more of a hassle to unpack...but that meant the living room was basically our open luggage space.

Summary: Remember it's all for the location!

Positive: The location is perfect for the beach break. Staff managing the apartment is friendly and nice. Thanks to other reviewers, i've brought a couple of Nespresso sleeves with me to use with a coffee maker at the apartment. Those only sold in large shopping centres and not available in the small shops nearby. Hairdryer, toaster, tv and fridge in good working order. Complimentary change of towels and bedding was offered mid-stay which is appreciated.

Negative: The apartment is tiny as most of them in the area, and the doors to the bedroom and bathroom are not conventional, and not most convenient to use, and noisy. The washing machine wasn't working, but as towels were changed it was not a problem.

Positive: Location, cleanliness, quiet. Had most of the things we needed.

Negative: Would have been good to have a few more basics - washing up liquid, laundry detergent, salt and pepper. Shame to have a coffee machine but not enough coffee (couldn’t find anywhere to buy it). Hot/ cold tap in kitchen is wrong way round - water is hot so could be dangerous.

Summary: We had a great time.
