The Nest is perfect romantic get away for couples of all ages. Self contained with a kitchenette hot plate and shower room. With views across the valley.
The Rossendale Holiday Cottages Glamping pods & motorhome pitches are located in acres of beautiful countryside in the Rossendale Valley. We offer luxurious en suite double room or self-contained cottages for guests looking for a home away from home.
Each duplex cottage sleeps up to 4 and comes with a fitted kitchen, living area, bathroom, patio and high speed Wi-Fi throughout, so you can have a peaceful and relaxing time or an action packed holiday.
Pets allowed upon request in our pet friendly accommodations. Our four glamping pods each have a double bed (one may have two twins at request) and offer a cosy and unique way to experience the countryside. Each Pod has its own facilities in a clearly labelled shower block.
We have two hot tubs available for private hire.
Our room sleeps up to 2 people and comes with an en suite bathroom, TV, fridge, and tea and coffee making facilities. Again free Wi-Fi is available. Pets are not allowed in the rooms.
Groups and families staying at the Rossendale Holiday Cottages and Rooms have access to our private BBQ and recreational area.
The cottages and room will also appeal to travelling business persons staying at the cottages, as we have plenty of secure parking and quick links to Burnley and Manchester.

Summary: Time with partner. Regrettably, accommodation repeatedly smelled of drains coming from kitchen. ‘ With views across the valley’ not being factual as camper vans park opposite accommodation, so instead of views of hills you are breathing in smoke and hearing noise. It is also a strange location to place the park, next to couples accommodation. This was not the peaceful retreat I had hoped or a space to enjoy fresh air.

Summary: Surprise get away for the wife. Great place, lovely staff, easy quick check in. Ordered breakfast for the next morning and delivered to your door. Went to a great pub for lunch called the Hargreaves about a 20min walk. Great pub food and made to feel really welcome from the staff and regulars that wee in there. Even watched the Grand National with them. They all made a fuss of out dog aswell.
