Summary: The room we stayed in was very basic with no-frills. No door to the bathroom, and no shower door. If you need more privacy when using the bathroom, this isn't for you. But I understand there may be more luxurious rooms available, hopefully, that offer this. Room also needed maintenance (e.g. shower not draining). Outside parking is an issue, and the surrounding area is a bit dodgy, albeit very close to the beach. We did have a nice breakfast on the premises, though.

Summary: When we arrived, Loddeys was experiencing some trouble with some plumbing so Johan upgraded us to one of their properties in the Beach House. It was very gracious of Johan and the Beach property was marvelous - clean, spacious and a wonderful place to stay. Thanks Johan. We had a great stay at Loddeys.

Summary: All the Staff were cheerful, kind, helpful, and efficient. Our room was lovely and had comfy bed. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice. A nice garden/ patio area to sit out and enjoy the sun plus a cool shaded area. The manager will arrange car hire for you or a driver if needed.
