Positive: Julia and David were the most outstanding hosts. It was a pleasure to be greeted by David on arrival. Everything in the lodge was perfectly arranged. The cleanliness and order were quite outstanding, and all necessities were more than catered for. The location is well placed, in North Harris, very central to visit many excellent sites of interest on both Lewis and Harris. It was wonderful to sleep under the astrolight window under the light of the moon (weather permitting)! For those up for long hikes the lodge is on the wonderful 'postmans loop', a 20km hike taking in some remote sites of great beauty. I cannot recommend Lochedge lodge highly enough. We have a lot of travel experience. This fully rates with the best of them.
