Positive: Loved the house being in the middle of nowhere!! Plenty of room for all 12 of us. Spacious rooms, cosy fires - all 3 of them!! The kitchen was well equipped (but bring your own tea towels as none provided). The owner was very quick to reply and resolve some small issues.

Negative: Did have a cold shower so needed to ensure hot water was available!!!

Summary: Perfect for a family / friends getaway

Positive: The property is great for a group of friends or large family. There is ample living space, including two lounges and a games room, and a dining table large enough to seat the whole group. The beds were all very comfortable too, and the bedrooms spacious (apart from one small room with bunk beds which is fine for children). The kitchen has everything you could possibly need, including plenty of plates, cups, glasses & cutlery, meaning we didn't have to wash up immediately after every meal (which we have experienced in other properties). There was also a generous amount of tea, coffee, sugar, loo roll, soap & washing up liquid left for us which we appreciated. The garden is huge, and the property quite isolated, so we were able to sit out in the evening without worrying about disturbing anyone. If you're looking for pristine, high end, this is not the property for you, but if you're looking for a comfortable place to stay with group of friends who want a cosy stay with good facilities and don't mind a bit of character, then I would highly recommend Llwyncadfor.

Negative: There was nothing we didn't like. It is a very old property, so expect some signs of wear and tear. Note: the nearest town is about 10 mins away by car, so plan ahead with shopping etc.

Summary: A spacious old house with everything you need for a comfortable stay for a group or large family.

Positive: Nice and big farmhouse, well equipped and the location is very charming! Big bedrooms with comfortable beds and a massive table next to the fire. Exactly what we were looking for !!

Negative: The farmhouse wasn't exactly clean.... A lot and lot of dust.. the baby chair was very dusty and sticky, and the tablecloth was stained and black of dust too.. But the bedding were clean and so was the bathroom..

Positive: Very spacious with lovely big garden. Very quirky with lots of period features. Great space for families and was pet friendly. Wi-Fi was better than expects considering the size of the property and the thickness of walls. Very peaceful setting.

Negative: There were no hand towels or tea towels which was inconvenient. Could do with a good dusting in places.

Positive: The property was lovely with a well equipped kitchen, gorgeous warm fires and comfortable beds. It was a perfect place to have a big gathering of several couples for a birthday celebration.

Negative: 5pm was quite late to get to a property at this time of year because you're trying to find the place in the dark. There were also problems with the directions which suggest that the house is accessed via the A4334 which is just wrong. It was very unfortunate that this misdirection sent us along a country lane which was covered in ice only to find it was the wrong road. The hot water situation didn't really cater for the number of people staying. It ran out after two or three showers in the morning and didn't heat more until the evening.

Positive: The house has great character, is very big and has all necessary things you need. A home away from home. We booked it for friends gathering with few kids, and could not ask for more when we saw the playroom in the loft. Perfect for the kids to hang out in the evening or when the weather is bad. Adults can enjoy the sit down around the fireplace in the living room (one of 3 in the house). Very big dining table will accommodated all of us well at the meal time (cutlery and plates in the dinning room cupboard not the kitchen 🙂). . Well taken care grass outside for kids to play around. We also thought it was a nice touch to have one slimmer and one plumpier pillow. I am back sleeper hence used the thinner one. Only 25min drive to Cardigan or Tresaith Beach, Or about 30-35min to Poppit Sand Beach. Highly recommend.

Negative: On arrival sat nav took us to another farm which shares the postcode. So whoever ventures to this lovely place when getting closer to the address you will have Chappel on the right (we travelled from the Tresaith Beach direction). We turned left just right before the Chappel and went all the way down to realise it is not our place. Luckily managed to talk to someone over the phone who gave us directions to turn right but past the Chappel. At that point you will also see sign 'Llwyncadfor' when you turn. Once we got there it was all relaxing :) Another thing worth mentioning is, if the water goes cold (storage water heater), just find the boiler room (where downstairs toilet is) and press 'boost' under 'water'. Coupple of our teens had cold showers before we realised it :) These will not override great memories We made when staying in the house :)
