Positive: Beach is nice. The MB restaurant is really good

Negative: When I first got to the resort I was waiting for my luggage to send to my room and I waited for half hour so I called to ask them to send it up. After another 15 mins I got down and saw my luggage were still there and the staffs were just chatting on the side. Also I was a solo woman traveler and the staffs asked me a lot of times “is your husband coming later?”, “is someone coming with you?”. I think once or twice is ok but it was too often. I also think charging 85usd a day for the cabana is insane. People come to the resort for the beach why do you need to pay extra for even an unbrella.

Summary: Good to experience but I won’t come again

Negative: Spa options were cost prohibitive, some areas of resort are dated, we didn't have anyone escort us to our room or around the property and we missed some of the amenities. We noticed some people were given a tour. The lighting in the bathroom was dim.

Positive: We had an amazing 5-day stay at Live Aqua Cancun. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Special thanks to Andrea, Santos, Ruben, and David from the wait staff for their warm and attentive service. The activities team, especially Ricky Ricardo and his group, kept us entertained all day with fun, engaging, and well-organized events — they truly made the experience memorable. The food was good overall, with plenty of variety and beautiful presentation, even if not every dish was outstanding. Combined with the excellent service and relaxed atmosphere, it still made for a great dining experience. We had a wonderful vacation and are already looking forward to coming back!
