Positive: The quiet almost rural location. It was a great spot for us as we live on a farm. It was easy to find, has good access and fairly well equipped to set up as a headquarters for visiting the area. Very simple and a fun spot to stay.for a couple.

Negative: The "spring cleaning" as preparation for the season was not quite done. The spider webs in corners and windows were still there along with dust bunnies. Some basic maintenance such as replacement of door weatherstripping needs finishing.

Positive: The house is in a great location for exploring the valley - 10 minutes from New Minas / Kentville & Wolfville. The facilities such as the washer / dryer were super helpful to have access to. Kristen the owner was very friendly from the start and helpful with any questions. The bedroom was a good size as was the entrance porch.

Negative: Only issue really was with the house being advertised as a two bed. It is a two bed but only when the lounge is used as a bedroom so that left us only a dining table as a communal area which was not particularly comfortable. There is no TV in the dining area so we had no where we could all sit together in the evenings unless we all sat together in one of the bedrooms which isn’t great for privacy when staying with other family members. It wasn’t a deal breaker but I don’t think I would stay again if we were travelling as more than just a couple.
