Little Whale House is a tranquil retreat located in the untouched secret gem; Mudjimba, in the heart of the Sunshine coast.
Located only 800 meters from the beautiful golden sands beach of Mudjimba, this is the ideal escape for those wishing to rest and relax in this little oasis, and enjoy the local cafes along the beach boulevard.
Mudjimba is an untouched hidden gem which has maintained its local laid-back beach vibe, out of the hustle and bustle, but at the same time it is less than 15 minutes drive to Maroochydore, Cotton Tree and Mooloolaba.
Only 5 minutes drive from Sunshine Coast Airport, and a very easy direct drive from Brisbane Airport, 1 hour and 15 minutes, straight on the Sunshine Coast motorway. WHAT TO EXPECT Arriving to Little Whale House you will enter the natural light filled open plan living area and dining, which straight away makes you feel like you are on holiday with the coastal / plantation décor. This area then opens onto a relaxing alfresco outdoor seating and dining area that is surrounded by a private tropical garden.
Downstairs there are two generous bedrooms with ceiling fans & screens, a main bathroom with shower and separate bath. There is also a fully contained laundry.
Upstairs is the secluded air conditioned master bedroom with a double walk-through wardrobe and spacious private master ensuite bathroom. This bedroom is lovely in the evening catching those coastal breezes. The master is air conditioned, and also has screens and a ceilng fan.

Located in Mudjimba, the beach is just down the road from you, whilst the Maroochydore, Alex Heads and Mooloolaba beaches are also a short drive away, Noosa a little further. From Mudjimba you can explore the best of both worlds, in the heart, on the Sunshine Coast. Located in a quiet cul-de-sac, close to a natural paperbark forest which you can walk through and make your way through the leafy lane ways to the beach.
Very laid-back and is a bit of a secret gem, has fortunately avoided all the built-up development of neighbouring towns, and is a more natural place. Perfect for unwinding, as its calm, and not hyper touristic like some neighboring towns. But then still very close to the busier Mooloolaba and Maroochydore for other activities when required. The best of both worlds. Very much the heart of the Sunshine Coast to travel North, West or South. Upstairs is the secluded air conditioned master bedroom with a very comfy king size bed, quiet fan, and double walk-through wardrobe, plus a spacious private master ensuite bathroom. This bedroom is lovely in the evening catching those coastal breezes. It also has a 42 inch wall mounted TV and a ceiling fan.

Summary: we loved our stay, nice quiet location with shops cafes and beach close by, the house was beautifully furnished but still had a relaxed holiday feel, well stocked - everything we could possibly need was provided. Dog friendly and an excellent dog beach nearby. We will be back!
