Summary: This was a great place to evacuate to from Hurricane Milton. There was debris from Hurricane Helena everywhere we went but they did a great job cleaning up. Although the people of GA experienced great destruction from Helena, they were all so kind, especially the employees at the restaurant here at the park.

Summary: This is NOT a 3-Star Property. This is a 1 or 2 Star at best. Maybe a nice property 20 years ago (?) - but neglect of the hotel in favor of the golf course facilities is readily apparent. Unusable pool. Derelict tennis courts. Common areas in shambles and left dirty and disheveled. Unsecured WiFi - when available - made working for me impossible. Chose the property based upon the 3 star rating and glowing Expedia reviews - now, in hindsight, obviously faked. We stayed in the "Lodge" - not the ($$$$$) cabins which look like new construction. Not sure why they were built when the rest of the place is in such shambles.
