The cabin was built in June 2019. It is located on crooked creek in crane hill. The cabin feature a bedroom with queen size bed and loft upstair with twin size bed & futon sofa, fully equipped kitchen, washing machine and dryer, there are three TVs (one in the bedroom, living room, and upstair). The living room couch also makes queen size bed. The cabin is cozy rustic design. Sleep up to 7 people. Also, boat ramp and dock on site. There are two adults size kayak, a kid size kayak and a canoe for guest to enjoy. 15 minutes from ext. 305 in Cullman. There are post office, gas station and dollar general store within a mile. Walmart and Publix grocery store is 25 minutes away in Cullman.
Please let me know if you are bringing a boat. You can launch and keep the boat at the cabin dock.
We are on seasonal water. The prime time is between March to August. The water level will start lower after summer.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay in Cane Hill although the water was low and we were unable to utilize the boat launch which was rather disappointing. It was exactly why we chose this particular location. For future renters, don't expect to launch a boat on the property in September.

Summary: This cabin is adorable. I loved the factory- burned wood in the walls. We had 2 adults and two kids. One kid stayed in the loft and one slept on the living room futon. I enjoyed reading my Bible on the porch in the mornings. Thx for the fan. I think every room had a fan which was lovely. We wished there was a little more privacy in the downstairs bedroom. Mizuki had cold waters waiting for us in the fridge. That was a very nice touch. Overall lovely stay.

Summary: Check in was a breeze. The house was spotless which is very important to me. House is right beside the bridge so there is traffic noise when outside. The floating dock was very nice as were the kayaks ( 1st time for us to do that). Kitchen was well stocked as was the bathroom. The spiral staircase is a bit tight for adults but we made it just fine. Overall a great stay!

Summary: This place was just as listed. Beautiful inside and out. This cabin has everything you need to enjoy your stay even down to seasoning! There are two neighborhood dogs that do roam around, but aren’t aggressive. Everything worked properly and we had no issues. The thermostat on the grill didn’t work, other than that it was great! We will be back for sure!!!
