Built by family in 1919, experience this piece of history while enjoying modern amenities. Our cabin is very cozy with one downstairs bedroom with a queen size bed, a loft with a double mattress, accessed by a wall mounted ladder, beautiful living room with wood stove and satellite TV, full kitchen, a front porch with a gas bbq, and a back porch with a queen size bed. Enjoy a short walk to the swimming hole or hike 20 minutes to a beautiful swimming and fishing spot on Big Creek. We are 15 minutes from Shaver Lake and 25 minutes from Huntington Lake. Fishing, hiking, skiing, cycling, mountainbiking, are all activities you can enjoy here.

Summary: I was looking for a place to reconnect with nature that was halfway between Yosemite and Kings Canyon NPs. This was the perfect place for me to be! As advertised, this is a cabin in the woods with all of the creatures that come with that locale. The property owner met me to make sure that I found the cabin with the parking location. He then walked me around the entire place to show me everything. This is the perfect place to reconnect with nature and yourself with no outside distractions.
