Positive: Absolutely stunning property With A1 facilities The house keeper Fiona is a Merritt to the property I would recommend this property to any fisherman or just for a fantastic stay I will be back for sure !

Negative: There was nothing not to like !

Positive: Beautiful property, superbly furnished with ample kitchen equipment to cater for a large group. Nice and warm inside even on a cold winter day. Plenty hot water.

Negative: There were a couple of items of maintenance that required attention but didn’t affect our stay. We advised the house keeper. The location is in a beautiful country setting and suited us however visitors will require a car.

Positive: Spacious property. Well equipped kitchen and utility. We rented the property because we had a family even in Banchory. We were able to house several family members here. The large kitchen diner allowed us to invite others to join us for lunch, squeezing in 13 around the table! I brought my dog and the policy is that they must stay within the non- carpeted areas. I had been worried about where I was going to leave him, but the utility room was just perfect for the job. The lodge was heated beautifully and there was the option for an open fire in the lounge. We were there in late October, so sitting out in the garden was not really a possibility, but if the weather had been ok, we would have loved to sit outside.

Negative: The private road that the lodge is situated on is rough and has the addition of two large speed humps. The problem is, even at dead slow speed we grounded our car on them. We ended up getting out at each one, so that the driver was the only one going over them. But that’s not the property’s fault. However it was an issue.

Summary: We loved this property so much that we’ve booked again for next year.
