Summary: We had a super holiday enjoying the location of the cottage. Jean Pierre was very thoughtful and helpful and the accomodation offers good value for money. The pool was lovely as we were in France during the heatwave. Between the pool and the close vicinity of the mountains and rivers we were able to have a wonderful holiday and avoid the intense heat.

Summary: We had a fantastic stay in Oloron. The highlights were the white water rafting, Artouste train, picnicking on top of the mountains, surfing in Biarritz and trips into Spain. There are plenty of activities to suit all ages. The gite is bigger than it appears in the photos and includes everything you might need for your time away. The owner is very helpful and is knowledgeable of the local area. The pool is fantastic and was at our disposal for the full two weeks. I have already recommended the location and accommodation to friends and family. A great value holiday in a beautiful part of the world.

Summary: The cottage is well located, being on the edge of town but within easy reach of shops - a small, well-stocked alimentation, a marvellous baker and a supermarket, all within walking distance. There are lots of places for walking, and the region is well worth exploring, beautiful countryside. The cottage was comfortable and roomy, the pool was lovely, and the host very welcoming. And it was quiet!

Summary: The bungalow is detached and spacious and is in the owner's garden. We received a very warm welcome on arrival and helpful information about the area. The accommodation is good with a large kitchen/dining area with a full gas cooker as well as microwave. There is a separate lounge area which we found very comfortable. The bungalow was clean and the bedrooms nice and light. Unfortunately we did not use the pool during our stay because the weather was cool outside although the pool water was warm due to solar heating. The location was good being on the edge of the countryside and therefore quiet, yet close to all amenities in Oloron. Lots of nice places to see nearby. The owner treated us as long-lost friends and really made the stay for us. We had a great time.

Summary: We had a lovely two weeks staying here. The owners were very welcoming. Our kids loved the nice, warm swimming pool. We spent many a day in there. We also drove into the mountains which were beautiful.
